"CLYDE! CLYDE! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Hayden yelled as he burst through the door of their dorm room. He had been out all day looking for Billy, whom had gone missing earlier that morning. He had looked everywhere. From the kitchens, to the courtyards, to the garden, and even in the classrooms. He knew that Clyde would more than likely know where he may have gone, seeing as the two got along rather nicely.
Sighing softly, Hayden sat down on his bed and crossed his arms over his chest. He was wearing his usual attire. A t-shirt that said 'intelligence are for those with brains', a red flannel shirt over that, rolled up to the elbows, and boot cut jeans. He wasn't wearing his large square glasses, but he was wearing his usual black high top converse. He tapped his feet around anxiously as he thought about what to do. It wasn't often that Billy went missing. Heck, maybe Clyde had even taken him for a walk. But either way, he just wanted to know that Billy was safe.
Looking toward the small plant that he had on the windowsill, he petted the pedals and pouted his lower lip. "Where are you Facey? I need to find my Billy boy."

Clyde had been lounging in bed since classes had ended. He was getting pretty comfortable just hanging near the edge, almost tempting fate, knowing he could fall off at any second but having total trust in his ability not to.
It was all pretty calm and therapeutic with a book in his hands.. A comic book because pictures were more funner than words.. Clyde was quite happy where he was. When the door burst open it threw his 'calm' completely and the book went flying as he attempted to sit up in bed and ended up on the floor instead. "Ow," he said as soon as he hit it. "Well so much for that," he muttered, getting up off the floor.
"Mate, I'm right here," he said, holding his arms out. Hayden looked.. Well.. Like something had happened. With Hayden you could never really tell. That was the fun part, he was unpredictable and Clyde liked that very much.
Clyde watched Hayden and then it all made sense. Billy was missing. "Aw mate, I'm so sorry to hear that," he said with bucket loads of sympathy... Or perhaps it just looked that way because of how animated Clyde could be. He actually meant it too. Hayden was nice and Billy was an awesome invisible dog. "Have you checked the kitchen? Maybe he got hungry," Clyde suggested, sitting back down on his own bed.

Hayden perked up upon seeing Clyde jump up out of nowhere. He grinned, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose and standing up. He didn‘t know his roommate was like Houdini. ”You really should join the circus, Clyde. You and that appearing act that you have.” He ruffled his hair a bit and shoved his hands in his pockets.
He frowned, having remembered that Billy was gone and that was why he was upset to begin with. ”Right! Billy‘s missing! You say I should check the kitchen? That could possibly work. Billy does eat a lot.” Which was true. He was continuously feeding the darn dog and he just kep coming back for more. It was like he not only had two hallow legs to store all of that food, but a J Lo booty as well.
Moving toward the door, he turned back around to look at Clyde, ”You‘re coming with aren‘t you? To help me look? He likes you, and six eyes are better four when it comes to finding things that are lost.” He nodded his head reassuringly as though everything he was saying made complete sense, which in his head, it totally did.

"You know I've thought about that but I dunno if I'm ready to share the awesomeness of my skills with the rest of the world," Clyde told him with a confident nod. He didn't even have to think to go along with whatever Hayden said. It usually made sense to him enough for a decent response. Sometimes it was crazy but he liked that too.
"Yyeah," Clyde said with a grin, agreeing with Hayden agreeing with him. There we go, progress! He'd probably find Billy in no time and then it would be crisis averted and everything would be all good again.
"Course I'm coming with ya!" Clyde said moving to the door to go to the kitchen. There was never a dull day with Hayden and he was just grateful for something fun to do for a while. Sure, Billy was invisible and Clyde wouldn't be any help at all but he had never let that stop him before!
