Alright, so meet Mike. A resident counselor here in the lovely walls of Hawthorne. Mike is by no means an average counselor, and never will be. He was once a father and has a paternal instinct that drives his work here in Hawthorne. Instead of using a book to guide his knowledge of a kid, he uses things that the kid's like to do in order to watch them gradually open up. Things like Video games, books, movies, whatever they want to do they're welcome to. Within limitations of course. Talking over a round of CoD sounds a whole lot more fun than sitting at a desk anyway.
He will not, ever date anyone that is a student. One, because its weird. Two, It's illegal, and Three, yeah. Just dont try it. If you have a staff member that you play and you think these two would hit it off go ahead and PM me and we'll work something out. But yeah students he is a guy, but he has standards. Sex addicts barely effect him in their ploys to get out of therapy using their bodies. He's seen it before and it personally disgusts him.
He'd befriend almost anyone who becomes a patient of his. He'd often end up referring to your character as a kid of his instead of just a student. As far as friends go, hes open to anyone becoming a friend of his. Students, Staff, everyone haha. As a friend you'd have someone in high places to talk to, as he's beginning to prove to the nation that people who use books to guide them when talking to troubled people is less effective than someone who's been there, done that and they themselves are working to turn their life around as well.
Enemies? Well, rival gang members would be funny if they were eighteen, seventeen ish and landed here. There'd be some old bad blood awakening and that would not be good at all. As far as enemies goes, he refuses to refer to anyone as an enemy, instead he just ignores people he doesnt get along with and takes the high road leaving people around him fuming.
His wife and year old son are dead, and that my friends is what lead him to change his life. They were killed by a rival gang trying to murder him for killing someone of high rank. But they got a sweeter victory by killing what meant more than the world to the former gang member and as of now. He has no Family left.
However, he tends to consider patients of his as family and as of now he has 7 out of 10 patients.
