He doesn't care about much in this world. He runs by his own set of goals and has his own warped sense of priority that he won't allow others to even attempt to understand. He likes his secrets, he treats everything like a game of chess. He manipulates, lies and simply can not be trusted but his charm (as false as it is) still convinces almost everyone to be on his side. He is incredibly intelligent but sometimes easily bored. He enjoys a challenge but enjoys winning even more.

FRIENDS: There are only two groups of friends James will have. One, those who are intelligent. The ones he challenges and allows to challenge him. These are the ones he enjoys keeping around but they are very very rare and take time to form. Most fall into the second category made up of people he uses. They have something he wants and he does what he can to appease them and get it (or he uses force)

ENEMIES: Few and far between, he keeps away from people who are just plain violent and angry in order to avoid conflict. Violence and verbal abuse is something he would walk away from or tolerate and then later work up a very subtle plan of attack (Or please discuss this with me beforehand because he will go after them and make them hurt)

Calista - She doesn't like him, he doesn't care

LOVERS: Few and far between. Some might intrigue him enough for him to form some sort of interest in but they would began as part of the first group of friends then go from there. Unless there is some physical trait that draws him to them. Most likely though, he would go for something who is pretty but not very smart at all. Someone quite dim who he can easily toy with and manipulate this is the sort of person he might actually be able to have something resembling a relationship with. (He is incapable of truly caring for them but he could at least become protective and obsessive which could work)

OTHERS: Ahh, yes. Let me know if anything else comes to mind.

We've already talked about it over MSN! I was thinking of starting a thread where Elizabeth and the older students that have already been in Hawthorne for a while. As she notices she picks him out of the group. Nothing against the others, but Eliza and hot guys are one in the same. Blissfully he listens to what she has to say about getting away with so much, and he ens up thinking that its useful to him.

i'm not really sure what these two would be. since calista isn't a big fan of men so she'd probably try and keep her distance. umm a little bit of her background & personality...she's been in a prostitution ring since she was 14-years-old and her personality is pretty in your face. she'll speak her mind and is a bit more aware of her surroundings than most. she doesn't trust others easily and tries to pick her friends carefully. calista doesn't like it when anyone belittles her or thinks of her as weak either...so what do you think?

This should be fun. The two of them are roommates and I beleive that Luke could be what James has described as a friend, and perhaps is the only other person who understands him. I believe the two of them would be able to challenge each other. Since this is lukes first year here, So how you'd like to bring this about is up to you.

Hmm.. Im not really sure what these two could be. I'll tell you a little about Sasha, and we can come up with something. She has split personality, and there are four. Sasha, Skittles, Frank and Rose. Uhm, her father died when she was little, and her mom is a loser. She's addicted to Meth, and is down for anything once. She isn't much of a person for Casual sex, but if she knows a person well enough she wouldn't object to it.

So uhm.. Idk, I think they could be friends but I'm not sure how well of friends they could be. She's pretty smart, and tends to stay with people that can help her in some way.

Calista: Yeah that'll work.

Sasha: He really doesnt care about people in general but if he found out, hed be interested in the Frank personality and would want to figure out a way to control it. Like bringing it out on purpose then manipulating it to get mad at specific people and generally controling him. Skittles he might want to use to get info from since she's most likely to know whats what around the place so he'll fake nice and get on her good side. May he'll be around only to learn about the personalities and how to use it.
