Ley looked back at her parents with disgust as they drove away from the academy. She turned slowly back towards the school and grumbled as she flung her bag over her shoulder and grabbed the other one by her side. She walked up to the building were she remembered the dorms were and walked right in. She knew that this was supposed to make her feel more.... well.... it was supposed to help her with her addiction but she highly doubted it would. She needed it more then her parents or her old high school knew, apparently. She swung the doors open and barely missed getting hit by a female, one who had a very nice ass. Ley turned her head and walked towards the elevator. The last time she had been here she had been handed her books, her schedule and her dorm room number.
Ley walked into the elevator and looked once more at the piece of paper in her hand. Room number 13. If she remembered correctly that was on the second level... not counting the basement. She clicked the button and the door shut on her. She looked around the elevator and sighed. This was going to be horrible... maybe it wasn't to late to turn around and go the that all girl school. It wasn't that she didn't like girls. She had, had sex with a few of them. It wasn't as horrible as most straight girls made it seem. Not to mention that most straight girls just pleased themselves. What was the difference? The elevator door opened and Ley stepped out watching the room numbers pass her by until she came upon her dorm room. Ley sighed heavily relieved and knocked on the door. She wasn't positive but she was sure that she had a room mate. If the door didn't open in a few minutes then she would just open the door and walk in.
"Ummmm helloooo?"

mari lay amid her unkempt blue comforters and sheets, staring up at the sheet rock ceiling, a blazing joint in her hand. the smoke drifted upwards, disappearing before it hit the plain white ceiling. she rolled over onto her stomach, boredom on her face, red in her eyes. when was she not high? it wasn't like hawthorne was helping her get rid of her drug 'addiction.' in fact, she had been smoking more than ever these days, right in her dorm, or sometimes outside. thank god she didn't have a roommate. little bitch would probably rat on her, and then she'd be locked in iso for a month. she sighed and heaved herself up, climbing reluctantly off of her warm bed and dipping the joint into the ashtray she had hidden in her bottom drawer. she made her way to her wide set of windows, looking out over hawthorne's bleak layout. so boring. she thought blandly. even though, since her and her best friend, galileo, had come to hawthorne, they had given the place a twist out of it's normal drudging atmosphere. but even now, having command over the entire school, she was still bored with it. nothing to do. no where to go. leo was sick, and who knows when that fuckhead would get better. mari groaned and fiddled around her room, picking up miscellaneous things and then dropping them back down, finding no interest in them. no interest in anything. mari was definitely an apathetic monster, but nothing felt worse than apathy right now. she prayed for something entertaining to come along. something she could torment, prod and play with. marilyn was certainly a vicious, vile being. but that's what she loved the most about herself. she wholeheartedly enjoyed being a heartless, monstrous alpha female. a knock on the door. an opportunity. a voice she didn't recognize. mari leaped to the door as if there were a strong fire in her dorm. she turned the nob quickly, and it flung open, nearly hitting her as it did so. she set her ons upon a girl, an unknown girl. nothing she hated more. even if she was bi, she still thought girls were the worst type of person out there. except for her, of course. she was gods gift to planet earth. she rolled her eyes, sighing. "who the fuck are you?" she asked bluntly, her dull, glazed eyes losing the excitement they recently had. she waited for an answer, leaning on the door frame, feigning an incredibly bored look. really, though, she was interested in this stranger. a roommate? could be fun, now that she thought about. just another person to step on, which was her favorite hobby. words, four hundred fifty nine outfit, clicktagged, lainey allen notes, sorry it's a tad short. also, i'm sorry it's over a month late!!

Ley readjusted her shoulder bag and grumbled. She hoped her room mate wasn't ugly or for heavens sack a psychopath. But she would just have to see. The last time she had been here she had got kicked out on the record it was made to seem like she had never been there before and it had been about 3 months. When she was sent back into an 'ordinary school' it was placed on her records that nothing was wrong with her. To be honest it surprised Ley that she had lasted as long as she had in the other schools she had been at. At one school she had gotten away with even having sex with the principle so she could get cash for a car and get out of detention. But she had gone to far she guessed when she had tried getting out of that police ticket when she had been going 25 miles over the speed limit. The female at first had though she was kidding but as soon as she figure out that Ley wasn't she was quickly put under arrest and sent here... again. She wondered how long it would take to get kicked out this time.
The door finally opened and smoke filled her nostrils. Well as least Ley knew that her room mate was addicted to drugs and not some crazy chick like her last room mate. Ley gave the girl an over look and quickly started to get interested. She wasn't ugly which was good, actually she looked pretty damn hot. Maybe she could get a little somethin somethin every know and them from her room mate. Who knew right? And to be honest Ley hadn't had sex in 4 days it was killing her she wanted cock or pussy really bad. She was surely happy when her room mate opened the door and ended up being hot. Ley smirked and finally let her eyes flicked from the girls chest to the girls face. Man the things she could do to this girl. If ley was a cat she would sure be purring right now. Just thinking of the possibilities.
"Hey there hot stuff. I'm your new room mate, Ley. Just got here."
Ley pushed through the door and looked around the room, It looked well enough, a little messy which Ley could fix in no time if she ever actually felt like cleaning and there was space for the two of them. Though she was sure that her room mate wouldn't like getting half the room taken from here. Ley flopped the bags down on the floor and looked back at her room mate. She was sure that the girl was most likely slightly if not severely annoyed. Ley chuckled.
"I'm suspecting the board was lazy as always and never informed you that you were getting a room mate huh?"

mari's apathetic eyes bore straight into ley's, finding the girl a little... bold, if she had to put a label on it. the girl's eyes swept over her body, and mari rolled her eyes, reaching into the pockets of her vans hoodie and pulling out a long cigarette, her favorite kind, new ports. the strongest smelling kind. mari hoped this girl had a sensitive nose. before she could say anything, the girl pushed by her and entered the dorm. her dorm. "i told them i didn't want a roommate. i especially did not want a blatant lesbian." mari said distastefully, tossing her nose up to the girl. marilyn was the queen. and she had to share a dorm with this lug of lesbian. fucking great. she'd have to tell leo all about this when he got better. he'd find some way to bring her down. "we should get some ground rules down. stay out of my way and out of my stuff, and we should get along famously. you should know i don't play well with others," mari said, sitting on her bed and giving the stranger a stern, strong look. "i'm marilyn, by the way. everyone calls me mari, or shark."she eyed the girl carefully. she wondered what her problems were, why she was here. "what are ya in for?" mari asked, puffing hard on her lit cigarette. the fumes wafted through the air and full the dorm with a smoky haze, smokier than what the weed smoke had done to it. mari had never been caught. she had been at this school for almost three months and she smoked when she wanted to. she drank when she wanted to. everyone did. hawthorne wasn't really helping the kids get better here. it made them worse. mari did more drugs than ever these days, she was drunk at least twice a week. she had a rude mouth and a monstrous attitude, and not one hawthorne teacher or staff member had even noticed. she was in power at this school. her dominant ways has grown ten fold. she was nastier than ever, and she was loving it. "i think you should know hawthorne has a hierarchy. it's me and galileo at the top, followed by hope, carabella, connor, a few others, then people who don't really matter, then people who are at the bottom of the food chain, like cameron and jeff and blake and alliya, and..." mari could go on forever, but she shut her perfectly pink lips and stared intentionally at her roommate. she told everyone she met about the hierarchy. people deserved to know. and most of them did. she wasn't doing anything bad, she was just asserting her and leo's dominance over hawthorne. this place had been a dump before them, and now it was a castle. and beautiful thing, constructed by a druggie and a antisocial kid. words, four hundred ninety six outfit, clicktags, lainey allen

Ley plopped down on her things, placed a hand on her chin, elbow on her knee and just smiled at Mari.
“We’ll I’m in because I’m addicted to sex. I have sex with guys girls adults but not kids and no animals.“
She really thought she was the top dog around here huh? Well this wasn’t going to work out at all not one bit. Ley hated being told what to do hell she hated anyone who thought they had authority over her. What did this girl think that she was doing that the rest of the school couldn’t do themselves. It was just liked any other school Ley guessed where there was always at least 3 girls who that they were bad ass that could get away with what ever they want. Who thought that the world revolved around them and that what ever they thought was supposed to be done was done just there way. Well Ley wouldn’t take it straight out. But that wasn’t all that she hated about this girl. She hated kids, and this girl was acting like a spoiled little princess. Well from what Ley was hearing it sounded like it. Ley bet that this girl wasn’t even in her grade nor above it. Ley shook her head and looked
“Well sweetie since we’re going on rules here. You stay out of my way and out of my things. I don’t care what you do which includes smoking and drinking as long as your not a psychopath. And I don’t tattle on others I’m perfectly capable of dealing with things on my own. And just for the record I’m bi not lesbian sweetie.”
Ley turned around and started to unpack her things and place them on her side of the room. She really had brought enough clothing for about 2 months, her bed things (all purple), her hair things some jewelry which she placed in a drawer and placed the rest under the bed. She could always grab the rest of the things out later. She did have a few hidden surprises tucked away in her bag.
“Oh yeah one more thing I absolutely will not stand for others thinking they have authority over me… “ Ley looked at Maris cigarette. “Got another one?”

mari gave ley a sarcastic, toothy grin, raging thoughts in her mind. a fighter. this always turns out interesting, she thought, licking her lips in preparation to bitch ley out. as long as ley went to hawthorne, mari had authority over her. she had authority over every single student at this damned school. they all were affected by her and leo's reign, and mari didn't mind if some of them hated her. she lived off of other people's hate. she liked to push people to the edge, to the brink. it came naturally, it was something she has learned when she was younger. mari had learned a lot of bad things when she was young. it all shaped her into the monster she was today. "as long as you go to hawthorne, leo and i have power over you. trust me. we run everything around here. this place would collapse without us." mari said boredly, taking the girl's resistance like it was nothing. and it really was - most people resisted when they first met her or leo. but they all learned in due time. the terrible duo destroyed everyone, sooner or later. "you can be reluctant, but that's how things run around here." yes, it was true. mari thought she was everything. but she was the only one around this dump who had any balls. guts. she wanted to make sure everyone was in there place. and she would. she reached into her pocket and pulled out another newport, handing it to ley and tossing her roommate her deep blue bic lighter. good thing she wasn't a tattle. "sex addict, huh? try not to be too much of a whore. we've already have a burned out, desperate slut." mari said nonchalantly, speaking of course about jordan. jordan was a desperate character, so desperate she fucked leo because no one wanted to hang out with her. mari rolled her eyes at her own thoughts, finishing her cigarette and placing it in her ashtray. her joint still sat there, half finished and calling her name., she grabbed it and lit it quickly, letting the marijuana smoke drift up to the ceiling. ley said she didn't mind. mari could smoke all she want. she lay comfortably on her bed, still leaving it messy and unmade. "so, your parents ship you off here? my grandmother made me enroll. she thinks i have a problem, but i'm pretty sure i've got it figured out." marilyn said, trying to start a conversation with the girl. she remembered saying she was bi. mari might as well tell her they have that in common. "ya know, i'm bi too. mainly, i hate girls, but i'm open to anything. i'm a whore, too, you could say." she said without shame. mari knew what she was. she was certainly not in denial, like most of the crazies around here. she sat up, gazing at ley and sighing. "you'll find out soon, it sucks here. i hate it. this place is worthless, not one person has been 'treated' for their 'problems'. mari really thought the hawthorne staff should get their act together. the kids were still wild and untamed, a hell bent group of teens that would never get over their imperfections.

Ley caught the cigarette and liter before looking up at Mari. Well maybe things were working out. They both were at least being a little nicer to one another at least more then Ley thought the girl was capable off. At first glance Ley had thought that this was going to be perfect but then Mari had spoken and Ley thought it would turn out bad. But it was going alright now. They were at least having a decent conversation without yelling, even if they were both arguing over this hierarchy thing. Which brought another thought to Leys for front how did this level of authority occur over the students? And even more importantly why hadn't anyone broken this hierarchy scheme? Ley thought that someone would have balls to stand up for themselves. If everyone stuck together they could do great things. Take down Mari and Leo and even take control of the school. Make adjustments to this dump of a place. But as Ley looked at Mari another thought came to her mind. Maybe Leo was as hot looking as Mari. Maybe the girls all wanted Leo or one of his mates and maybe the guys wanted Mari for her looks or maybe one of Maris mates. That would surely stop a rebellion. Wouldn't it?
" Well ya see I think this place would do just wonders without you and .... Leo you said his name was? And you can try pushing and pulling all you want and I'll never break. Like i said before I don't take to authority very well.As for school it was either here or an all girls school. Got kicked out like 3 month ago but I'm back know."
Ley shrugged and plopped the cigarette in her mouth, lit it and took in a deep breath. It wasn't often that she smoked but she did every know and again. She also drank when she was really up for it. Ley laid on her bed and looked at the ceiling letting the smoke blow out of her mouth and lungs slowly. Ley wondered if she would stay here as long as she had last time or even longer. She might have had only two choices to choose from and though she had choose here she really wished she was some where else. Some where normal for a change. But it didn't seem to be about to happen any time soon she would just have to stay where she was and make the best of it.
Ley laughed. "Well I guess you could call me a whore. Like I said I have sex with just about anyone. " Ley took another puff of smoke and let herself get the most out of the puff. There was no way she was telling this.... underclassmen why she was so addicted to sex. She wouldn't tell anyone she didn't even think she could handle admitting the horrible truth. Ley rolled her head towards Mari and looked at her for a second."You know what? I've never heard of you before now. Which is weird to be honest. Maybe I just never paid attention or didn't take you as a threat. " Ley shrugged again.

mari glanced up at her new roommate and gave the girl a knowing look. she had seen it all before. they really did resist at first. but mari and leo were infectious. they got to everyone's pressure points eventually. they destroyed people. they made them fear meeting her or leo somewhere in the school. some accepted their dominance, some did not. but that didn't matter. they were in power, and everyone was affected by it. "it doesn't matter if some resist our reign. we've affected each and every student around here in one way or another, and that's enough. there are some who accept it and some who don't. but we push people to the edge eventually in their course here at hawthorne. i can assure you, that if i don't push your buttons, leo will. i know you don't understand, honey, but that's how things work around here." mari growled, gripping her sheets and giving ley a serious stare. but honestly, she didn't care if her roommate didn't feel like she had authority over her. mari knew the truth. she decided not to bother with the matter anymore - her roommate was being a drag and didn't understand hawthorne's mechanism, she'd rather let the dumb girl find out herself rather than have mari explain it to her. "no one has stood up because no one has a spine around here. besides, i've made sure everyone, or most people, know that i can be violent. and so can leo. no one wants to get cut." mari sighed, telling her the truth about hawthorne students. no one dared overthrow her or leo. if anything tried to get even close to it, she'd certainly kill them, or injure them. isolation wasn't so bad. they gave you internet to keep you from going crazy, or so she had heard from cameron. mari was ambitious, and mari had no limits. she could be quite frightening. "you've probably never heard of me because you just got here to hawthorne. you haven't heard about anybody," she pointed out, sitting up and making her way to he dresser. she toyed around with the things place on the top, keeping tabs on ley as she did so. listening for her to move. to say something. she opened a dresser and peered inside, her fingers lightly going over the fabrics inside. her favorite blue shirt. a pair of dark denim skinny jeans. a few sweatshirts. that bitch better not touch my stuff. i'd shove a metal pole down her throat, mari thought stubbornly, closing the dresser quickly and letting it slam against the hard word, shaking the dorm a little. she turned back around and watched ley with glowering eyes. mari didn't play well with others. words , four hundred sixty seven outfit , click.tags, lainey allen
