Max wasn't having as much fun as he thought he would. Okay that was a lie, this place had all he ever wanted. An unlimited supply of alcohol(courtesy of his father) and an unlimited supply of girls who wouldn't mind screwing him(courtesy of low self-esteem and alcohol problems). To him this was the life. Kind of.
What he missed the most was back home he had a little chase to do here and there. Yes most girls happily jumped in bed(who wouldn't?) but those were the town sluts of course. Everytown had them. Right? The rest he had to...play. He would take them out on expensive shopping trips(courtesy to his mom's unlimited supply of cash).
Yes those were the days he missed, so he decided for a walk. Not all girls here would throw themselves at him? Right? Amanda didn't so there had to be a few more girls he could persuade into bed with him. The act of persuasion, that was what he loved about the chase. It was exhilarating, expecting a no getting a yes.
So as he sat in the common room looking at all the girls, wondering who would say yes and who would say no. He wanted a no girl, someone to mess with someone to get into bed. Dump them and have them again another day. That was what he wanted, and he usually got at home.

Anna was in the common room reading. It was one of those boring days where she was trying to get away from everyone. And this was one of the easiest ways to do that. Reading was so solitary and most of the time once you were reading a book, unless something crazy was happening, people usually left you alone. Usually, though not always. Sometimes this was completely wrong and instead of making people leave her alone, they’d ask what the book was about or they’d tease her about her reading it.
Today, Anna was hoping that no one would interrupt her, she enjoyed reading her books and she really couldn’t be bothered for interruptions. It was easier if people just ignored her and let her read, but sometimes of course it wouldn’t work. But still, Anna sat on the floor, her back against the wall and her hood up as she continued to read her book in silence, ignoring the world around her.

As Max's eyes scanned he saw someone in the corner reading and his grin widened. Of course most people would stay away from the smart ones. But that wasn't Max's style. If they were cute he'd try, and if the said no it wouldn't hurt anyone.
It would just make him want them more, it would cause some kind of excitement and crazy thrill of winning someone over. So he stood up, walked over to her, letting his shadow cast over her as he leaned on the wall next to him. A playful glint played in his eyes as he touched the book and pulling it out of her hands and flipping it closed and looking at it. "Hmm. What is a pretty girl doing sitting by herself reading?"
He tossed the book back to the ground and grinned, "There is more fun things that I can think of."
