Maxwell loved hanging out in the hallways after school, he couldn't help it, it was something he just liked doing. After school people were walking around and he could see who he wanted to party with next. He never was with the same people, okay well he did party with the same everyonce in awhile. Just not all the time.
There were a lot of party girls in this school, which is why he was happy to be here. Watching the girls walk by he smiled at them, some swooned and waved others glared. Most people knew what he was looking for, sex and drinking. Of course he always had the alcohol, he never went without, so he was good letting someone drink a little here and there for some quick sex.
He was ignoring everyone else around him as he stood there and opened his locker. Ah his homework, he was positive that his deal with Amanda was one of his greatest ideas. She was smart, not cute, so he wasn't going to mess with her anyway. So here he was, with homework. He took it out and looked it over, good it was all done.
Closing his locker, he leaned against it again. There was hardly anyone else here, so he kicked off his locker and headed down the hall. No point in staying here if no one else was.

rudolph stayed in the hallways after school because he didn't have anything better to do. all his packing was finished, homework sucked, and exploring the school every single day was getting kind of weird. boys aimlessly wandering around by themselves were a waste of space. and that's when rudolph realized that he needed a friend here. at hawthorne, the only people he had really even bothered speaking to were girls. everyone looked older than him, and it was a little intimidating, even for someone as outgoing as he was. so instead of going out and looking for a girl to flirt with, rudolph decided that he was going to stay in and find a guy to get into a conversation with. because, let's face it, girls can be pretty annoying sometimes. and you always need someone to talk to about girls, and if you talk to girls about girls it gets awkward and they suddenly find you repulsive. at least that's how rudolph saw it, anyhow. rudolph decided that perhaps a quick stroll through the hallway would lead him to finding someone to talk to. so that's exactly what he did-- walked through the hallways. and finally, he found someone. the guy was a little bit scruffy looking and definitely older than rudolph was, but he didn't really care. the guy looked pretty bored, after all. what bored person wouldn't want to strike up a conversation with rudolph? actually, rudolph could name about twenty people that now hated his guts, but that's beside the point. rudolph was going to have to figure out how to talk to this person without coming off to young or stupid. both of which he was, by the way. it'd just be really strange walking up to someone all, "herp derp i'm new wanna be friends?" actually, that'd be more than strange. that'd be creepy and ridiculous and just plain unacceptable. rudolph was also pretty sure he did that to a group of random people one time and got slapped for pretending to have mental issues. " hey, i'm rudolph and i just came here from california. um, what's up?" atta boy? outfit. @ gabby with maxwell three hundred fifty six wordsboy plastics ! c: sorry it's short, low muse and a lot to reply to! Maxwell wasn't one to be bothered by people talking to him, actually half the time he found it entertaining in a way. Depending on who it was he was talking to. Most of the time if he was talking to a girl, wait. He hardly talked to a girl. Ever. Okay yes he had little flirtatious banter for maybe a minute and then half the time they were all over him. Which he enjoyed.
And since coming to this school, that was really the only think he had actually done. He hadn't had any random guy friends or anything like that. Probably cause most of them were strange. Or well he didn't want to chance it. He had maybe a few close friends back home, and even they weren't that close. They were just his party buddies and the drank together, sought out girls together. The usual.
So when some random guy came up to him, well he really didn't know how to act. But because he had a reputation to hold he just nodded a hello and kept on walking. When he realized the guy just wasn't leaving he shrugged and stopped, turning to face him. "Max. I've been here. Alcohol. You?" It was the first thing that didn't make him sound like an idiot but more like he just didn't really care and was just saying it to say it.
