history: Britain born and raised Holly comes from the small English town of Keswick, born to Julie and Fred Lancaster Holly was always an odd child far to curious and critical for her own good. All the way through school she’d always been the child on her own, no one understood her and no one would ever listen. It was senior school when things started going really bad for this little terror, her uncle Bryan one night brutally raped the poor girl, she was only fifteen and when she tried to tell her parents, no one believed her. Feeling lost and utterly alone (as she wasn’t the most social of people) little Holly began to cut herself, she began small like most cutters do pinching herself to take away the pain when she was mad or upset, but it soon moved up scale till she was taking razors to her wrist.
She wasn’t suicidal Holly would just cut to make the pain go away she didn’t fancy dying it was incredibly unappealing to the young girl.
One day however Holly’s mother happened upon her one night with a razor to her wrist, thinking the child was trying to kill herself she found an ambulance straight away and had her institionalised. The Lancaster family couldn’t have a scandal it would have been disastrous for their clean reputation to be ruined by their daughters actions, Holly’s uncle offered to take her off of her parents hands while she recovered but Holly was adamant (in the sense she’d through violent fits or run away every time he came near her or the hospital) that she either went home or she stayed in the hospital.
it was her mother who suggested sending Holly to Hawthorne Academy, believing her daughter would be miraculously cured of her problem they sent the poor child packing the next day.
