history: ashley grew up in london and lived there until her father passed away. her mother got offered a job in maine at a local dental practice, so the two moved over. Her mother constantly dated people and completely ignored ashley, so she first tried to get her attention by pretending to be depressed. she pretended for so many years that it actually began to become a reality, she started cutting and isolating herself. her mother eventually noticed, which just made things worse, she was always badgering her to be social and leave the house etc, but she just didn't want to. after two months of that, ashley couldn't handle life so she hopped into the bath and slit her wrists, hoping to die, but unfortunately her mother walked in on her and dragged her to the hospital. she is now stuck in this shit hole.
