It was a Thursday night, and most kids were sneaking out tonight, but Danica? She'd been sneaking in. Her brown eyes glanced around as she smirked happily. Another successful break in, her eyes were slightly glazed over and bloodshot from some drinking and smoking in the forest. Her wedges hit the floor gently as she staggered down the empty corridors. She didn't want to go to the dorm, not yet at any rate.
Her options were so limited though, sighing a bit she saw the door to the roof. Ah yes! A beautiful place for her to go and explore. Plus have some fun, pending on the people up there. As she walked up the stairs, the tan girl smirked and giggled. Something about how it was so illegal made her giddy. Finally she reached the door at the top of the stairs leading to the large rooftop, a smile spread across her lips.
It was... Empty for the most part. She was a bit shocked-- Then she saw a very familiar figure. "Why hello there Clare," She smirked as she saw one of her close confidant's-- Clare Flynn, they met through a mutual friend, Calista and their meeting seemed to stem a close friendship, but... As per usual, Danica had been the girl to make her a friend with close benefits.
Sitting next to the girl, she put her purse down and pulled out a bottle of Jack Daniel's, "Want some?"

[/I][/COLOR]" Speak of the devil, she heard the voice that would draw a smile from her face most any day. The senior was quite amused by the girl turning up here when she looked at the younger. " Surprised, to find me the only one up here?" the girl chucked a bit before continuing the sentence. " The party is elsewhere tonight. Rumors have it that its down by the pool." Despite the senior being notoriously quiet, she was exceedingly observant and that was part of what made the woman useful to anyone who wanted information on anyone or anything. She often heard everything from a conversation and was able to nearly repeat every word heard from memory. Her eyes met the sophmore's as she approached. " Want some?" Clare looked at her as she began to pull out a bottle of jack daniels. Hah. Classic Dani for ya. She smirked a bit, a mischievous glimmer in her eyes as she looked at the girl and nodded, " Why Not? A buzz couldn't hurt tonight" her voice had a matching mischievous tone. There must have been something about the adrenaline that had been running through her body not moments before coming to the roof, mixing with her average teenage aptitude for getting in trouble when she accepted that caused her tone to match her look. Claire unlike many people here though preferred sobriety, and would only get herself a little buzzed compared to the many dolts that got themselves pissed drunk and couldn't find their way back to their dorms. Hah. The irony of this entire situation... Clare thought before looking to Danica and then to the night sky above her. Nah, she hated being alone at night and had been thinking about going in to bed until now. It was clear and the stars were bright, guess she had a reason for feeling good tonight. There were numerous reasons Danica Holsten kept Clare around, and one of them was her ability to spout entire conversations from memory. It was quite useful in finding the ebony haired girl's next unlucky target-- and Dani had a strategic few she was going after, although it was little to know question who ran this school's bringing of illegal substances in. She didn't actually do a lot of it herself, unless she had a private thing going on right after... Nope, her band of thugs did it for her-- and oh how she repayed them, it wasn't shocking that they came back for more.
"Mmm, surprised and quite delighted I must say," Danica returned the smile and nodded, "I would prefer a private party with you though-- if you wouldn't mind," The senior was probably one of the most attractive women in this school, and it wasn't surprising that Danica simply had to make the athlete her's. Which she did almost every single night. It was amazing really, the most amazing thing was the lack of questioning by others when she came out, fully dressed from the senior's dorm room.
As their eyes met, Danica couldn't help but smirk, "Exactly-- besides, it's not like your around someone irresponsible," she spoke with a small laugh. She knew tonight was going to be good and fun, how? Because it was her and Clare, all alone-- With a bottle

It was an odd relationship to say the least. Danica and Clare were near polar opposites in their mannerisms and opposites with the crowds they hung out with. And yet somehow they ended up close friends, with benefits of course. It was odd enough that Clare was completely honest with people when she said it was only Danica who would get even the slightest peek of her skin. Honestly it was true, before the girl had arrived at the school, she really didnt associate to closely, she felt no need as long as she had her sketchbook, and a few pencils on her at all times she was happy. Then it all changed when the girl waltzed into her life and pretty much stunned the life out of her. Maybe it was the way she moved with such confidence, and ease that made Danica pique her interest. But within a few days the two had become close, something Clare had never bothered having around. She saw what having friends did to people, it ripped them apart at times. But then again it also could make the people happier than those freaks on methamphetamine when they're on their highs.
It surprised her to hear that the party animal would rather hang with her tonight, in a way it delighted the girl. She looked at the stars again and then the moon, maybe it was some part of her that still had a child like wish that if you wish on a shooting star that you would be able to fix everything here. Clare wasn't selfish at all, or at least to her, some would claim she was selfish for not associating with anyone but Danica, but they were often met with an icy glare that shut them up near immeadiately. Maybe Danica was using her, Clare really couldn't care less. For once she was gonna enjoy the ride, even if it meant she crashed and burned for a while. After all, she was well aware she was replaceable with someone more attractive, or more apt to party. She'd known what Danica did to people who pissed her off, the rumors flew about the school when things happened, and yet the girl remained un-phased.
Either she was stubborn, or stupid... or maybe a bit of both.
She grinned at Danica's reaction to her comment about a buzz, "I have a good feeling about this party we're gonna throw up here tonight." It was odd the way the quiet senior's confident side could flare up around her, When Clare's confident side did show; it was near amazing at the reversal of her persona. In fact she acted more like the average teenager should instead of the one that was much quieter and much more reserved. Nah, Danica wasn't irresponsible either, maybe not in her opinion. And the fact that Clare made it clear the first time the two had drank together that she didn't like getting completely shitfaced and would rather keep a buzz made it clear that they'd both be at least semi coherent by the time they bothered to go back to their dorms. "Its your bottle though Sunshine. You get first drink." Hah, what a nickname. It was one rarely used by Clare unless she was in an undeniably good mood.
Which, she was in more than just a good mood to be honest.

Danica was very much a diva, almost a princess-- Within a matter of months she had come to be known as one of the biggest party throwers this school had to offer. One of the sneakiest girls in the school, she knew it like the back of her hand... She loved living this crazy life of constantly sneaking out, partying, hooking up... One thing she loved to do more though, was take a quiet little girl like Clare, and reverse her completely. She was by no means a party girl, but Danica had worked her magic and gotten her out to a couple parties before. Granted, whenever Clare felt uncomfortable to the point of leaving, the ebony haired girl would take her home where their party would continue one on one... She really liked how she could pull her out of her shell, be it making out in the hallways or feeling her up in the student lounge-- She made it known that Clare was one of her favorite hookups, and she knew not a lot of people would start shit with the girl because of it.
Whether Clare wanted it or not, she had Danica's protection.
As the brunette spoke, Dani smiled and nodded. "I have a feeling it'll be one of our best," The sophomore responded as she took out the bottle of alcohol. It was rather large, and it was suprising that it fit in her small purse. As the senior spoke again, Danica agreed wordlessly and took a large gulp of the beautiful liquid. Smirking, she handed it to the girl. "I don't need much, I all ready smoked a bit," Danica laughed softly as she laid back. The alcohol was all ready mixing with the marijuana and alcohol she drank earlier-- Putting her rather odd place. Marijuana had a habit of making her horny, while the alcohol made her passive... It was quite confusing, seeing as she was mainly the aggressive type. Then again, Clare was one of the few people she didn't mind having control of these situations.
Staring up at the sky, she tilted her head. She wasn't used to it... New York wasn't known for it's stars-- Well, at least the ones in the sky. It was enchanting almost. "So Doll, do you have anything in particular you'd like to do at this party?" She spoke softly, her voice was slightly lower than usual, but a smile was permanently on her face.

Like night and day they were the duo that would be able to reverse each other. Clare had been around Danica enough to understand her tendencies under the influence. Alcohol made the girl passive, which shocked Clare, due to the fact that the girl was the alpha female type that loved to dominate a scene. Alcohol, in small amounts made Clare a that alpha female type until she realized she still was who she was. No matter what she did, she would always be Clare. Not that Clare disliked a she was at all. In fact, she loved who she was, after all as she let her eyes drift back over to Danica, you have to love yourself, before you could love another person. As a friend, as something more, and as family. Danica fit the friend bill perfectly for Clare, she knew Danica had her back which gave her an odd sense of security seeing as Danica had yet to see what Clare could do with her body when it was in fight or flight mode. She remembered the voices at the school when she ran, injuring several teachers, students and more trying to get away from the man who destroyed her.
Many were left with broken bones and bruises all over their bodies. Nothing stopped Clare when she was focused on something, perhaps sometime Danica would have the honor of seeing her in that kind of a mode where, the muscles she kept so perfectly toned would be used for a fight. Despite what most people think, if you mess with someone Clare found herself close to, you would end up with your life as hell until Clare was bored. She never did anything outright, Nah. Thats not as fun as say.. stuffing a dead fish in someone's locker and causing them an entirely new world of embarrassment. Hah, that happened before Danica had come to the Academy. Listening to the words of the other teen, she laughed. "Yeah, best party yet. So, thats where you were eh?" She shook her head and chuckled a bit before she herself took a quick gulp of the liquid and grinned. Pot was an interesting thing, Clare tried it once and never found it appealing, nah it was a bit of a downer for her and she didn't need assistance in relaxing.
She looked at Danica who seemed to not be used to the stars yet. Hah, apparently in New York it was to bright in the city to see much beyond the lights. She laughed a bit before pointing out a constellation everyone was familiar with. "That one right there, thats the big dipper." Despite being in this school for fucked up teenagers, when Clare was in her element she looked as normal as someone from the outside. Pausing to listen a bit and ending her stargazing lesson early she chuckled at the question, and raised a brow. "Honestly, Im up for anything." Anything was a dangerous statement for her to say but there was a trust in Danica that she had where she could say anything and it would be within reason. The September breeze brushed against her skin lightly and she stretched as she looked at the sprawled out girl beside her and chuckled before laying down beside her.
Clare's fatal flaw; she questioned her every move.
