Today had been a good day, surprisingly. Well, nothing tragic had happened, anyway. Sure, her thoughts would bring her down a little, but then she would always find a way to cheer up. It wasn't often when she had days like this, and she wanted to make the best of it. She walked out of her music class with a wide smile, having been complimented on her piano skills by the class. It made her confidence boost a little bit. She couldn't help but smile at it. But now, she had science, which she really didn't want to bother with.
Hope let out a sigh and decided to just walk real slow. She might even decide to skip, if she felt a bit risky. It wasn't normal for her to skip her classes, but she just couldn't be bothered with learning about science. She didn't care about it. She went to her locker and grabbed her iPod. She pushed the earbuds into her ears and turned it on (To NeverShoutNever, if you must know). A smile came to her lips again as she shut her locker, walking down the hallway.
She looked down at her feet as she walked, biting her bottom lip. She pushed her hands into the pockets of her jacket and let out a breath. Her head was tilting side to side, going along with the beat to the music that she was listening to. She wanted today to stay as good of a day as it had been, that's one reason that she wasn't going to science; that class always put her into a bad mood. She didn't know why, but it just did. Usually, she would always be ready to go to a class. She was one for learning, because she wanted to go somewhere in life, but lately it'd been getting harder to go to her academic classes.
She knew that it had something to do with her depression, she just didn't want to do anything, but she always pushed her to do whatever it was that she needed to do. But, lately, it had been harder to do anything. She just wanted to lay in her bed and do nothing, to a certain extent. She would want to play her guitar or something, but that was nothing new. She snapped out of her thoughts and looked around. The hallway was completely deserted. She stood there, in the middle of the hallway, for a moment. She then walked over to the edge of the hallways, and sat down, her back leaning against the wall. She let her legs extend out infront of her and leaned her head back, letting it hit the wall. She closed her eyes and let out a sigh. This was calming; no one was around right now.

Max was always the type of person who skipped, he hated class and he didn't even do his homework. He got Amanda, the crazy smart chick, to do it for him. Just bothered her and she said if he left her alone she'd do whatever he asked. He said homework. And now, he never ever did his homework.
He stopped by his locker and stuck in his books, never every bringing them with him. Why? He wasn't using them. He spent all his time screwing girls and drinking. Those were great days. Actually that was everyday.
Walking down the hallway he saw Hope(yes he knew who she was). Okay so this school wasn't huge and since he knew Amanda of course he'd know who her roommate was. And it'd be nice to get into Amanda's skin by messing with Hope. It wasn't breaking the rules, technically. He was staying far from her.
She was coming closer to him so when she neared him he kicked off his locker and walked down the hall with her. He saw the earbuds and tapped her shoulder.

Hope changed the song on her iPod to Woah Oh by Forever The Sickest Kids and a smile came to her lips. FTSK always made her smile, no matter what. Their songs were just so amazing, and fun. Especially the one that she was listening to. It was upbeat and fast, just the way that she liked her songs. She was kind of feeling bad for skipping science, her partner probably wondering where she was. But she really hated that class. She wished someone would shoot her everytime she stepped into the room. It upset her, but that's how it was. She couldn't help it.
She was actually kind of bored, however, just sitting here by herself. She felt like a loner, a recluse. She didn't like that feeling. She loved being surrounded by people and having fun. Sure, she didn't seem like it, being here for suicidal attempts, but she could still be happy sometimes and have fun. She wasn't as depressing as people thought her out to be when they first here what she's here for. She was a great person to be around, whether she thought so or not. All she knew, is she loved to make people smile. No matter how she could do it. Sometimes she had to do something stupid, like how she made her sister smile before she left, but sometimes it was simple, like complimenting on how someone looked. She knew that compliments made her smile, because it wasn't often that she got them back in Texas.
Hope felt a tap on her shoulder and looked up, only to see a boy. She pulled the earbuds out of her ears, pausing the song that she was listening to. Her eyebrows raised in curiousity and she smile softly, "Um, hi?" That's all that she could think of too say, and she figured that it would do. Besides, she didn't know that someone was going to come up to her and tap her shoulder. It took her off guard, needless to say.

Maxwell sat down next to her, not saying anything for a minute or two until he couldn't help but smile. She was cute, a little petite but cute none-the-less. And Max liked anyone who was cute, obviously. Some always thought he was here as a sex addict instead of an alcoholic. but he wasn't addicted to sex, it just happened to be good.
Smiling he stretched, letting his arm lean on the chair, but not touching her. "Hey Hope," he said with a slight tilt of his head. "What is such a pretty girl like yourself doing skipping class?"
He gave a soft laugh, "And how is your roommate? Still hiding out in her room?"

Hope rose a lone eyebrow at the boy. He was kind of forward, which she didn't really like. It reminded her of Alex in a way, and drove her insane, but she wasn't going to judge him on that alone. Wait, he knew her name already. What the hell? She didn't even know the guy and he already knew her name. Well, that was a bit creepy, isn't it? "Well, I don't really like science... How do you know my name?" Her tone of voice was very curious. Hell, who wouldn't be if someone knew their name, and they didn't know them?
She kind of scooted away from him, but not so much that it was noticeable. Just enough to where she felt comfortable. If she didn't get a good vibe from someone, then she would freak out easily. It brought back memories, and she didn't like memories. She hated the past, she'd rather move foward in life. Ofcourse, right now it seemed that it was harder for her to let go of the past, so she couldn't be lecturing that, "Um, she's fine since the last time I talked to her. What's it to you?" How did he know her? There were so many questions.

Maxwell knew everyone's name(or anyone who has anything to do with anyone he has contact with). Why? He likes to be informed and he likes to keep tabs. So he knew who Hope was back when he decided to mess with Amanda. Smiling he shrugged, "The school is not that big. And I know your roommate." Might as well say the least amount of things, that was his motto. well actually it was less talking more drinking, more drinking more partying, more partying a whole lot of sex.
Shrugging, yet again, he flashed her his famous smile. "She does my homework," he said honestly. "And I pay her. And I leaver her alone," he said and turned back around. He didn't think it was that bad of a deal, to him it was actually pretty good. She wasn't bothered and she had extra cash. Who wouldn't like that?

Now she understood how he knew everyone. It was true that this school wasn't all that big. There couldn't be that many fucked up people in the world, right? Actually, that was a lie. She had no right to say that. Every single humanbeing was fucked up in their own little way, whether they knew it or not. It was just their decision if they were going on act on it or not. Obviously, she acted on hers, but she didn't bring on her problems herself. People pushed her to do it, "Oh, I gotcha. How do you know Amanda?" She asked him, being a little more polite to him now, "I'm sorry to bother, but what's your name?"
Hope didn't know whether or not that deal he told was a good thing or not. It seemed to be a fair trade, Amanda gets paid, and she doesn't have to put up with another boy that she fears. She wasn't going to judge to boy for that, but she was curious why they made that deal. She wasn't going to ask, however. She thought it would seem rude, and she was a nice person. She had manners, "Well, I guess that sounds fair."

Okay so he might of exaggerated a little on the school being small. There were a lot of people here even if it didn't seem like it sometimes. So he might of been a little curious and found out. Not on his own, he wasn't that savvy but he called some people outside of school. I did say he had connections? If I didn't he does. A lot of them. And well they found out and told him EVERYTHING. Or mostly everything, the important things, like the problems, it was all he wanted to know. He was a manipulating son of a bitch.
The deal was good, for him anyway. Amanda was pissed off, but Max was tougher, and a lot more conniving then that wannabe bad ass. So of course, well his planned worked out for the best. Though she was cute, and it could of been fun to mess with her. But he had enough on his plate already.
"It's Max," he said like it was a known fact. Like everyone knew him. Hell he was a conceited jerk, and didn't deny it either.

Hope rose her eyebrows at 'Max' in an amused manner. To her, he was acting like a conceited jerk, and she definitely didn't like those types. If he continued to be like that, she knew that her bitchy side would come out. It didn't take much for people to get her angry, and for her to buck up at someone. Sure, it probably didn't look like much, I mean, she was pretty small. Before she was proclaimed an anorexic, she was able to hold her own easily in a fight, having only hung out with guys most of her life.
"Well, Max, it's a pleasure to meet you," She said, trying her hardest to stay polite to him. She didn't want to be mean to him, just because her first impression of him wasn't that good. Maybe, he would turn out to be less of a conceited jerk? Oh, who was she kidding? The first impression will always stay with you, and she had a feeling that this conversation wasn't going to get any better than it was now.

Max was a conceited jerk, and he was happy to be one. He didn't really give a crap about other people's feelings. Not really. No he would do whatever he wanted, and he enjoyed when people got pissed off at him, he found it slightly entertaining.
"It should be," he said with a smirk. I did warn you he was a conceited jerk. I never lie. So let's say Max wasn't looking to pick up Hope. No she was not his type at all, she was too small. But hell it didn't mean he couldn't mess with her. Hell any girl he could piss off in some way was worth it.

Hope raised an eyebrow at Max and crossed her arms over her chest. She was tempted to stand and leave, but she didn't want to be rude. Even if this guy was being a conceited jerk. She bit her bottom lip for a moment, not saying anything. She didn't want to say anything she'd regret, but she knew that it would come out eventually. It's just how she was; she could only be nice for so long. Yeah, she was taught to always be nice, but when she began to hang around her brother and all them more, she caught an attitude, and she'd had it ever since. Not that she minded, she loved pissing people off that she didn't like.
She finally just stood up, turning around and looking at Max, "Well, you're an asshole," She commented, giving him a sarcastic smile for a moment, before it disappeared. She knew now why Amanda wanted him to stay away from her, he was a jerk. A major one. I mean, who says that right when you're meeting someone? That was ridiculous, she would never be that conceited or rude to someone that she first met. And if she did, it was because she'd heard about them and already didn't like them. Normally, she gives anyone and everyone a chance, unless she's heard bad things about them from more than one person. Maybe she should have asked Amanda who to avoid at this school.

you fuck so goodi'm on top of itMax had always enjoyed being conceited, it brought out different reactions from different girls. Which he usually enjoyed for the most part. And Hope was no different, he was enjoying the little angry things she was doing, and it made a grin spread across his face. Ah was this girl entertaining. And the asshole comment made him chuckle.
"I already knew that," he said with a shrug. He stood up, leaning against the wall and crossing his own arms across his chest. "Life wouldn't be as fun if I wasn't," he said with a wink. Usually his conceited asshole thing got him many girls, other times it got him slapped. But all the time he was glad he did it. when i dreami'm doing you all night tags;hope words;one two two notes;haha i love his jerkiness XD music;crazy bitch;buckcherry

The feelings that were brought on, usually, by a person like Max weren't good. Back when she lived in Texas, if someone acted the way that she would punch them or something of the sort. She wasn't able to handle her anger well most of the time. Hell, she'd even tried to punch her brother sometimes, but he almost always found a way to stop her, which pissed her off even more.
When the chuckle passed his lips, Hopes eyes widened in anger and she placed her hands on her hips, cocking her hip to one side, so that most of her weight was on that leg, "Can you really not find anything better to do than trying to get girls pissed off? If not, that's pretty sad. It's not good to piss some girls here off," She trailed off, taking a step toward him, now having to look up to see him. She was only 5'3", she was pretty short. Well, to some. "You could get hurt." A nice and innocent smile was on her lips now, acting if nothing was wrong.
Ha, she knew that she probably couldn't hurt many people anymore, her eating disorader had taken most of her strength from her. She was slowly getting it back, but she didn't know how long she could hold out on not punching Max in his face. He just thought he could do anything he wanted and get away with it. Well, no sir, not in her book. He needed to be taught that.

Max quirked a brow and watched the little girl walk closer to him. Did she actually believe she was that threatening? She was so small he was sure he could take her, well if he would hit a girl. He usually didn't. Yes he pissed them off, but he never used his hands. The guy had some morals even if they were few and far between.
So he crossed his hands and gave her a soft smile. "Its not all I have to do," he said with a shrug. "But it's pretty entertaining to say the least." He closed his eyes slightly before she said that he could get hurt and his grin spread and his eyes flewe open. "Are you threatening me little Hope?"

Threatening was such a harsh term. Her name wasn't mentioned in that sentence, was it? No, didn't think so. If anything, she was just making a statement. She knew that she couldn't hurt him, she didn't have the strength to do so. it is, however, easy to break someones nose. It didn't take much strength at all to do that. Just enough momentum and he would be seeing stars. She knew that someone needed to teach him a lesson, and she knew this just from one encounter with him. She could daydream all that she wanted about hurting the boy, but it wouldn't do any good unless she did it, which she knew that she wasn't going to do. She didn't have the heart to do it. Yet, anyway.
When he started talking about how entertaining it was, she rolled her eyes. How could pissing girls off be entertaining? Sure, she liked to piss people off from time to time, but that's when she's not in a good mood and needs to let out anger. And she doesn't just lash out at people, she lashes out at the people that she hasn't ever liked. She shook her head at him and gave him an innocent look, "I would never threaten someone, Max. I'm just warning you because I care." Ofcourse, that was a lie. She hoped that this boy got hurt one way or another. She really wanted to let go of those emotions and just give him another shot, but she knew that it wasn't going to happen. The first impression always lasts with her, most of the time atleast.
