Belle had enjoyed the swim in the lake and couldn't stop thinking about it and decided to hit the pool. She stuck on a bikini and jeans and a shirt. She grabbed a change in clothes and a towel(just in case) and headed out the door.
She really needed a good relaxing swim, she had just been overly stressed as of late. And that run in with Sasha, well that made her brain even more foggy. It had been harder to keep her anger in check and she was really positive she needed sex, but she still was refusing it.
When she got to the pool, she took of her jeans and shirt and let her hair down. She sighed and jumped in. God this was one refreshing situation. She already felt calmer as she swam from one side to the other and back again.
Laughing, she let herself float to the top of the pool. She imagined she was at home, hanging out with her old friends in her backyard. Only if that was true, than she wouldn't be here and she wouldn't be an addict.

Kobby loved the water. When it was still at his public school, he lived for the swim team. Everyday after school he would be in that pool, with that same group of friends practicing. Even during the off season, the few of them would still swim everyday after school. it was hard for him to not have that in his life, but at least they had a pool there. It was nice, to be able to swim on his own rather then with a group but at the same time he missed the routine of his old life. He hated it here, and found that the people here weren't what he would normally want as friends. But sometimes, a person had to do what they had to keep from going under.
He entered the pool area, and looking around saw that there were a few people here. Not to many to stop him from swimming his laps though and he grinned as he put down his towel and started to tak off his over clothes. He wore his swimsuit from school, and though some of the guys here (mainly Gavin) would make fun of the speedo he didn't care. Kobby knew he looked good in it because he took the time to stay in good shape.
Hanging his towel over a chair, he made his way to the pool.

Belle got sick of imagining her old life and opened her eyes, and the sight was much better. She felt the urge pull at her to get up and walk over, she just couldn't get herself to do it and stayed where she was.
She bit her lip and decided to close them again, but that didn't seem like a good idea, all she wanted to do was open them again. Giving up, she opened and stared at the guy. He did look good in a speedo, she had to admit that.
Deciding to talk to him, she swam to the edge of the pool and batted her eyes up at him. "Hey," she said nonchalantly, like she did this every day. Which she didn't.

Kobby was putting on his goggles when he heard a small voice coming from the pool. Turning, he spotted a girl at the edge of the pool looking up at him. He grinned at her, and took off his goggles as to not be rude.
Normally he would just ignore it, and go on to his laps but he was in high spirits today. "Hey" He said back, moving to get into the pool next to her. She was small when he stood next to her, but he was rather use to the girls being smaller then him now. Some things wouldn't change.
"Names Kobby" He said, pushing his body under the water then coming back up.

Belle smiled up at him, he was really cute and she felt the pull to do bad things to him. Instead of giving in, she pushed the feelings down and felt her body wanting to explode. Was she ever going to have a conversation with a guy without this stupid feeling. It was always crossing her mind and right now it was pissing her off.
"I'm Belle," she said with a soft smile playing on her lips. "I have a quick question," she said, thinking back to when Jake told her she'd look good with red hair. She hadn't stopped thinking about dying it again. "Do you think I'd look good with red hair?"
She knew she did back then, but who knew anymore these days. Peoples thoughts on her changed over and over and the hair color didn't look good to some and did to others. One of the reasons she needed a second opinion before actually being stupid enough to actually do it.

Kobby laughed when she asked about her hair color, though he was confused as to why she would ask him instead of a friend of hers. He shrugged, and looked at her for a moment.
"Well, I don't think you would look bad but I'm more of a blonde liker myself" He said with a soft smile. She seemed alright, and Kobby could see them having a nice conversation though it was odd to him that she would ask him that.
"Why do you ask Belle?" he asked in a gentle tone as he ran a hand through his now wet hair.

Belle felt her face flush and she looked down, "Well thanks." She made a mental note to ask Calista about it later on and see what she thought.
"Well someone told me I would look good with it and I did it once a long time ago," she said with a soft smile. "And I heard good things but I wanted to get someone else's opinion and you were here."
She laughed and shrugged, "No matter that then." She ducked her head under the water, getting her hair wet and coming back up. "That is refreshing."

Kobby nodded, though he wasn't sure if he bought her reason or not. It didn't matter, he decided. Maybe it was her idea off an 'ice breaker'.
"So Belle" he said with a grinn as he lowered his body into the water so that only his head was above the water. "what brings you to the pool today?"

Belle shrugged, “I find it relaxing.” She didn’t know why water was relaxing, she much rather the lake then the pool. It was just to cold for the lake, and she learned her lesson on that one. Too bad it had to be so darn cold. “What brings you here?” She had no clue what to talk to this guy about. He was just so hot, that it made her want to run in fear of jumping him. ‘Breath,’ she thought. Concentrating on something rather then him and sex and other things she had no intentions on doing at this moment.

"Well" he muttered looking around the two of them for a moment with a smile on his face. He had a little something to be happy about. He was at the pool, and he lived to swim. He had had to save his brother from a girl, and that was rather fun to witness because it's his brother and this girl seemed to be honestly interested in him. though, he didn't understand. yeah, Kobby knew he was a bit beyond average good looks, but these girls didn't k now him.
"I was a swimmer, before this. I've won a ton of medals, and I don't wanna give my swimming up so I come here and swim laps for about an hour everyday" He looked back at her and shrugged.

"That's cool," she said with a smile. "I was the captain of the cheerleading squad, and well before swimming tryouts well...I kind of stopped going to school." She shrugged like it was no big deal, because to her, well it wasn't a big deal. Or well she didn't think it was anyway.
"But I always swam as a kid, it was fun." She smiled at him and ran a hand through her hair. "So.." She looked down, she was out of things to say. The only thing that came to her mind now was, want to go to my room? But she was not saying that.

"Its good to have something your good at. And it's even better if other people look up to you" He grinned at her. She was a good looking girl, and rather nice to look at but Kobby wasn't a creep like that. He wouldn't mind getting to know her better, and the thought of her being around made him smile again.
When she mentioned that she had swam as a kid, he didn't know if she met casual at the pool with her friends or on a team. It didn't really matter though he suppose, because he was guessing that she was only trying to find something to talk about and it was obvious that she lost interest in the current topic they had been on. So instead of trying to find something else lame to talk about, he took his water in the hand and splashed her.

Belle shrugged, she wouldn't know. She was mediocre at everything she did. She wished she was actually GOOD at something though half the time it didn't bother her, not until someone mentioned something they were amazing at.
She was already wet as wet can be so when he splashed her she didn't freak out or anything. But like everyone, when your splashed you laugh and splash the person back. So it was what she did, cupping water in her hand she flung it at him and giggled.

"That wasn't nice..." He muttered for a second before reaching over and grabbing her. Was he flirting? Yeah, for sure but he was allowed to. Kobby didn't belong to anyone yet, and he liked to flirt and make girls laugh.
"So now you must pay!" He said in loud tone before lifting her body up and dropping her so that her whole body went under the water. He laughed at himself, partly because he was being silly and acting like a kid but mostly because he enjoyed things like this. The pool was fun for him, its where he liked to be.
"Haha, what now?!" he exclaimed, challenging her.

Belle felt her lip pucker out when she said it wasn't nice. He started it, and she wasn't just going to sit around and let him finish it. That was for sure. So she just smiled and laughed as he picked her up.
She felt her body sink to the bottom, pushing her self up she burst from the water and shook out her hair and started to laugh. She wanted to push him under, but she was pretty sure that it wouldn't work very well.
So she stepped closer and just smiled. What was that about killing with kindness? She tilted her head to the side,"Now that wasn't a nice thing to do to a defenseless girl." She splashed him again with a happy giggle.
