Her skin is very clear, a hereditary trait produced by her mothers' side of the family. history: mari was born in New York City to a crack addict mother and a meth addict father of Iranian origin. . She was surrounded by drugs for the majority of the vulnerable, impressionable years of her life, and that could explain her addiction today. Her parents were awful people. They'd lock her in her windowless, poorly ventilated room and she'd be forced to listen to the sounds of her father beating her mother through the paper thin walls. Mari was also abused by her father, sexually physically, and mentally. She was always around skeevy men in their shabby apartment building, leering looks and toothless grins were normal for her. At around age seven, 'help' finally came. Her father had been caught with meth amphetamines and a warrant had been issued on on their apartment. The police discovered, upon searching the house, her many bruises and her poor living conditions. She was whisked away by child services to one of the many foster home in the city.
Unfortunately, Mari's hell was still not over.
She was bounced around from foster home to foster home, no one ever bothering to adopt her- she was a dirty, ill mannered child, she was wild and she was mean, especially to the kids she shared a home with. At age nine, she was already a bitter, cold, heartless person, with no hope. Until she turned eleven, when her rich, pompous grandmother came to know of her whereabouts. She was adopted quickly, and was sent to live in her grandmothers' huge, expensive mansion, Yet years of abuse and neglect and taken it's toll on Marilyn, and she was a bad kid. She'd terrorize kids in the private school she attended, and at age 13, she began dabbling into drugs. by 15, she was a party queen, a complete whore, and she began counting her calories everyday carefully. Her grandmother, having enough of this wild child she adopted, sent her to Hawthorne for some help. It probably won't change Mari, but she has decided she'll humor her fretful grandmother by doing this.
