overall: August is an above-average individual when it comes to apparel. He's a 6-foot-lanky guy, and isn't afraid to show some skin. Tight pants, just-rolled-outta-bed-hair, and a long shirt of any style is as narrow as his style gets. He has a good amount of tattoos, all of which mostly consisting upon his arms and hands. Though he does have a few peace-signs on his feet.
August hardly ever wears shoes, and when he does, they're usually flip-flops or something of the sort. His wrists are covered in bracelets and ties, accessories, and cover-ups as well. Lastly, the boy definitely enjoys his glasses. Older-style ones to be more specific. They're always a perfect gift in his eyes.

Father- Alive- Not known
siblings: Sister- Alive- Not known
other relatives: none known
history: August has had quite the past. As a child, he didn't have much. His family barely scraped by, and restrictions were an all too common consequence. He was bullied at school, not having all the hip-and-in clothing that everyone else at least had an idea about. His home-life wasn't much better either. Being the only son, August was expected to take care of his sister and mother while his father was away. Not only was that task hard, but near impossible considering he was younger than both of them.
His child-hood was stolen from him in cold blood, but his teen years had proven to be even worse. When he hit 14, the abuse started. His father would come home, eat dinner, then find August for a good-ol' lecturing. The topic of said lecture was hardly consistent. One day it'd be about school, the other about his apperance, and the next about his lack of responsibility. Feeling as if he wasn't good for anything, August would often just lock himself up in a room, and sit.
Day after day the same thing went on. He'd go to school, come home, and lock up. Until one afternoon, on his way to the bathroom, he noticed there wasn't anyone home. No mom in the kitchen, or dad on the couch. Completely empty. He ran to the window, and the drive-way was utterly empty. After sitting there the whole rest of the night, August went to sleep, in hopes that they'd be there in the morning.
To his dismay the house still remained empty. From there on he just went to school, came back, and stared out the window. This went on for weeks, months even, until his teachers noticed the sudden slip in his grades. Unfortunately they requested a conference, and no matter how hard he tried to convince them he was fine, they persisted. The day of the conference he stayed home, staring out that window with the utmost hope. But a car did show up.
Apparently the school had contacted child services. They took him away. August was destined to live in a foster home for the rest of his teenage life. However, the foster home turned out to be the best thing that'd ever happened to him. Well, somewhat. There he met the love of his life. A tiny brunette with a heart for the tunes. She taught him everything about life. How to be in love, how to act in modern society, everything. She even taught him how to play guitar, and helped him unearth his singing voice.
August's life was changing for the better. He barely thought about his parents, and even though he still locked up, his heart's hole was beginning to fill with each passing day. But like everything else in his past, nothing ever went quite his way. The girl he'd been so committed to had been cheating for awhile. With multiple people. The day he found out was the day that changed pretty much everything. He hardly ever came out of his room. Didn't eat, didn't sleep, and sure as hell didn't talk. Panic attacks were a common occurrence. He became terrified of himself, and wasn't willing to let anyone inside of his heart.
He wrote countless songs, and played till' his fingers bled. This went on for about 6 months, until he met his second love. She wasn't as into music, but she was definitely into some other things. She had pills, and hard-narcotics, all new and awfully tempting to the innocent August. He soon became addicted, and would now lock up, play, and pop ridiculous amounts of a variety of pills. Though he soon went too far, and OD'ed in his room, locked up.
They had to call the fire department to break down his door, and he was rushed to the hospital. A few days later he was well enough to get out of the hospital bed, and they slowly healed him back to an ok level. However he was released on police watch, and after going through the perils of juvenile court, he was sentenced to attend school at Hawthorne.
So here he is. Confused, and scared. Not to mention his addictions are far from diminished. He's got a big empty hole in his heart, uncontrollable anger, can't handle being alone, has panic attacks, is very impulsive with money, commits self-injury, annnnd more~
