overall: ursa is a fragile little girl, small and vulnerable, a pure virginal ballerina. she's subject to temptation and has a severe eating disorder, which has warped her mind so bad everything she does is centered around her weight, it's always on her mind. she does drugs to cope and is reckless and wild if she puts her mind to something that she wants to do. she doesn't talk much, she's very quiet and always has her head in a book, or she's painting, or writing poetry, or dancing. she's got lots of demons and is also depressed and has anxiety attacks - to put it simply, ursa's got a lot of problems, which have made her shy, soft, easily hurt, and reserved.

history: ursa was born to a bear trainer for a mother and an accountant for a father with a twin named leah. she was born in england and lived a pretty decent, normal life - her twin was her best friend and her days were sunny and bright. but when ursa dn leah turned 9, her worst year happened. only a month after their birthday, the two were walking down a road when a drunk river swerved and hit leah, speeding away afterwards. her sister was killed on impact, right in front of ursa, and it changed her life. ursa shut herself off from the world, and her parents moved her away from england into Indiana, fearing she'd be scarred for life if she stayed in the same town in england.

but ursa had already been scarred. she went to a public school in Indiana where she became fast friends with some not so popular girls. after being friends for a while they revealed they were all 'Mia buddies', meaning they were bulimic together- 'to lose pounds, of course!' they said when she asked. they told ursa she was becoming a porker and wouldn't be so pretty in her tutu and tights if she kept eating like she did. it was also around this time when her parents were getting a divorce, so she was at an extremely impressionable point. terrified, ursa started starving herself instead of jumping on the bulimia wagon (she didn't like the feeling of making herself throw up.) it became a severe problem and she was sent to at least three other ED facilities, but none of them helped. after getting back from the last facility, er friends turned her back on her because they figured she was turning her back on them by going to clinics. this depressed ursa so much she tried to kill herself but was caught in the act and sent to hawthorne as a last resort for her parents.
