Finally back home and in the comfort of her own room. Summer had used the school showers like she had gotten use to over time and well sense her boyfriend could parade around in a towel she had walked back to her room in hers. Once she got in there the girl went and found her box where her stuff was stashed. None of it had moved. She sad in front of the old antique mirror that now stood in her room where some of Florencia's stuff had been. She missed that girl right when she had gotten close to her well she was gone. Her other roomate was kind of an owl, but than mostly not even here. It was kind of lonesome in this room of hers. A comb ran through her wet hair working out all the kinks in it. She had a lot of hair. The blow dryer blew her hair dry after awhile and she sat looking herself over.
The girl that stared into the mirror was completely different from the one sitting outside of it. The one inside basically had no power over herself she followed and mimicked every move that Summer made. Of course it was just a reflection, but an observation none the less. Summer stuck the box in her lip and opened it looking at all the pretty pills. The thing was that Summer had been getting better for the most part and she had slowed down on the whole drug bit, but her eyes sparkled at them and she looked over each one of them with her eyes before settling on maybe two that could possible get her back on the wrong path. The true point behind Summer's addiction was the thrill she got from taking the pills and feeling nothing. She took the water she had by her side and unscrewed the cap. She watched herself as she put two of the pills into her mouth and swallowed them down with a gulp.
The thing was it wasn't safe to mix your drugs, but well today Summer just didn't care. Its not like anyone really knew her when they came down to it. Heck she didn't even know her sometimes. She use to be this hard person to get a long ith but everyone loved her. Her emotions spun in more ways than the drugs spun them half the time and keeping up with them was way too much work. This passed week was the biggest challenge. Her parents came to townand she had to face them sober though she acted like half the time she wasn't because it wasn't like it mattered to them or her. She didn't care about them and well they always told her how much she didn't fit into their family. Being here was better for her though some may disagree. Looking in the mirror she smirked. It had been such a long period of time without drugs in her system her body already just took to the poison. Though people probably didn't notice Summer hadn't been high in a long time. No one really knew her person not even her.
The reflection in the mirror got old she stood up taking the towel off and putting on a strapless bra and matching underwear. She had to admit she still had it. Then she walked to her closet and grabbed her little red dress and slid into it. She slipped some white flip flops on and for a split second returned to the mirror put make up on and then sat on her bed just to pop right back up. She hadn't given herself much time to think and she already knew what she wanted to do. She wanted to see her long lost boyfriend. Sure, she was high, but he really wouldn't care. Or would he? Did it really matter? The girl picked up her keys grabbed her phone and locked the door behind her.
Slowly, her body swayed down the hall on the mission to Mr. Arlington's room. The halls narrowed as she switched halls crossing over to the dark side or the guys side whatever. "Ten, Eleven, Twelve," she poked the door wearing a big grin before reaching for the handle to notice it was unlocked again. Silly boy was going to get it some day. Summer silently shut the door behind her as she observed the boys room. She could have missed something but she didn't see him. She went and sat in his spinny chair and spun around a couple times as he waited for him to appear, emerge, realize her precence or whatever it was he did. It had been sometime sense she had came to see the boy or sense he had seen her. Relationships weren't something she was big on so she didn't want to cling, but it'd be nice to see him here and there.

Clyde was quite happy with just chilling and doing his thing in his room. With his room mate off somewhere doing who knows what, Clyde had the room to himself. So he did what he liked doing, he turned up the music real loud and just danced for a while.
To some it might be a pretty crazy thing to do but this made him happy so why the hell not! Who cares what anyone else things anyway? It was strange how the suicidal kid was actually more positive and optimistic than a lot of the people here. It seemed kind like a bit of a contradiction but Clyde knew he wasn't the only one. Cas had been the same. She was here for being suicidal too but she was also smiling and happy and he understood that.
To some degree it was just a cover, like a mask they wore, hoping it would one day be real but it didn't matter. Clyde was real good at convincing himself that he was happy and that everythin was alright but even then, it only took one silly little moment of nothing too serious to bring it all down again. Last time all it took was Hannah being kind of harsh online about him liking Summer and saying he wasn't allowed to whatever. It was nothing and usually Clyde would just brush it off like it was nothing but it got to him.
It was Hannah though, this sort of thing just happened and it didn't take to much, just one random trigger and the kid would go quiet, refuse to talk to anyone and possibly have a go at another suicide attempt. It was a constant reminder of why he was here. He might seem normal, well-adjusted and even happy but Clyde had his problems like everyone else.
Slipping off the headphones, Clyde left the room in search of a can of coke. Standing by the machine he saw a familiar form go round the corner. He girnned and took a step forward, preparing to run up to the girl but he stopped himself and got another can of drink before moving back to his room. The girl was already in it but he didn't mind. Clyde never cared to keep his room locked and Hayden just never thought to do it. It probably wasn't safe but Clyde didn't care or worry too much about that sort of thing.
Bursting through the door in his usual dramatic fashion, Clyde exclaimed, "Bonnie!" with a grin. Sure, that wasn't her name but Clyde was aware. He had been in love with the girl since the day he stumbled blindly into the girls bathroom by accident... Yeah, long story... Either way this was just a little joke of his. The things he cared most about were always called Bonnies, course, those things had been guitars but he figured it'd be funny.
Moving up he left the cans on the table before pulling Summer up into a tight hug, even liftin her up off the floor for a second. "I've missed you," he told her.

Summer thought her boyfriend was just the funniest thing, because he was here for being suicidal, but in her opinion he was one of the happiest people she met. He was so hyper and so willing to just do whatever. His taste in music according to her best friend here that had graduated was awesome and she didn’t disagree either. He had so many awesome qualities what was not to like? The girl couldn’t help herself in that respect. He honestly made her in a sense more sane, sure she did do drugs and somehow whenever she was around him it turned into like Viagra for her because he always had her piping hot....well not Viagra she didn’t have penis, but same effect she was rather horny around him, but sometimes that could happen sober so that was a funny thing to think. She was easier on drugs than sober? No, that wasn’t true either. Man that was horrible!
The attitude the boy had where he really didn’t care what people thought was also something that captured her attention. Sure, everyone sort of did, but Clyde was just Clyde and he didn’t think much of it, but then again maybe it was just a male thing, because she noticed a lot of guys did that. Honestly, she didn’t see how he was suicidal sometimes. His happy go lucky attitude really contradicted that, but well she never said anything, because she often times didn’t think about it much. She didn’t understand it because she didn’t have the same problem, but she was there for him if he ever needed her. She was sure he knew that.
The girl was honestly curious though to how Clyde was back home who Clyde was if he wasn’t suicidal what his friends were like. She didn’t really want to meet his mom, but then she did, because well Summer wouldn’t admit it, but she was falling for the dude and well that is why she was dating him. Surely others could see it to. Sure, she had always been a flirt, but to girls like Hope and Hannah Clyde was brought up quite a bit. The girl couldn’t help herself it was just the way she felt. The way her heart kind of raced. It was so different, but again she was scared and he understood that or so she thought, because he was still with her and that meant something right?
Summer would hate to think what he’d be like without her. That was a selfish thought, but if the two broke up. He was suicidal that would have to be a bad effect right? Well, that wasn’t going to happen anytime soon on her mind anyways. She hoped he felt the same exact way, because she didn’t know what she would be like if he wasn’t her boyfriend. She’d pry fall harder into her addiction. Everyone had their fall backs.
Summer hadn’t even seen the boy as she had passed him.
She was on a trip in her own little world and she had a destination and that was to go see Clyde, but of course she pictured him in his room and well, seeing him elsewhere would just throw off the vision. The room was empty when she stepped into it and she spun around with a laugh. Nah, he wasn’t playing a game of hiding go seek with her that would be silly. Though her brain didn’t rule it out right away. She looked about his stuff was still here so he hadn’t moved which was a relief.
The door flung open and the dark haired blue eyed boy emerged with an excited voice as he called her Bonnie. She smiled widely at that name, because it was kind of cute his name was Clyde and he was calling her Bonnie! It made total sense. ”Clyde!” she said and giggled just a bit. She didn’t know it was what he called things he cared about he just thought it was something he did because of the irony of the situation.
Summer didn’t notice he had brought her a drink, but suddenly she was off the ground and he was squeezing her into a hug. ”I missed you too.” she said when she finally had her lung control back. Well, that was a great way to be greeted. It made her feel really really good now she felt bad she had taken drugs before she came over, but he may not noootice. Yeah right! ”How’s my boyfriend been?” she asked putting emphasis on those two words.

Clyde had a wild side when it came to sex. He was just on it as soon as the chance arose. Summer was well aware of this by now. He could get pretty kinky too but then Clyde wasn't the type to sleep around much. He was pretty monogamous, not hooking up with anyone until Summer and only because he really liked her and now they were dating so it worked out pretty well.
He didn't know what's he'd do without her and it was really hard to predict. On the one hand, he could be completely fine and just try to move on with his positive outlook on life helping him to get over her but then on the other hand he could get it really badly if it was a messy break up and then who knows what might happen.
Clyde's room still looked about the same with the music playing through the headphones and the left-handed guitar sitting on his bed, the amplify on the floor beside it and his desk messy with pens and papers as usual.
He grinned when he saw her and got to hug her. There was really nothing like it. Being with Summer was amazing and it felt great. Clyde really wouldn't trade it for anything. Summer never failed to make him feel better.
“Course ya did. Everyone always misses me,” Clyde said like it was all factual as he let go of her and reached over to turn his music off and shove the headphones back on his desk then glancing back at the girl with a grin. He didn't really notice her current state, Clyde tended to be in a blurry daze more of the time, brought on by his own manic attitude. They thought he might have been depressed despite this but they weren't sure enough to put him on medication so this was all natural.
“Been good, been writing a few songs,” he told her, sitting down on the bed. “How've you been?” he asked, grabbing the cans of drink and handing her hers. He liked how she called him her boyfriend, it was nice and it was what he had been waiting for since he met the girl.
Sitting back he leaned up against the wall somewhere near the end of the bed, pulling guitar onto his lap and plugging it in, he turned the volume down a bit so it wouldn't be too loud. He strummed the first couple chords to a song he wrote called spider, just teasing her with the melody before speaking. “Wanna hear one?” he asked.

The whole sexual experience with Clyde well it was great. Summer often time didn't keep one partner which was weird, but well she didn't like to grow attatched, but something about him just well made her want to be monogamous with him. Though, to her surprise he was a lot crazier than herself with the whole thing. The little drawer of hidden secrets had her puzzled not that she cared, but well she did her mind wondered when he seemed to not want her to see some of the things he was a kinky little one. Now that she was dating him she wondered really if she could keep up. Sure she had the drive for it, but she wasn't sure what he had in store for her in the drawer.
The topic of break up well it hadn't really crossed her mind. Nothing was wrong with this relationship, but the fact that well there was still the whole Jeffree aspect, but she figured he found out because he seemed to back off of her a lot. She did feel bad, but she couldn't help it she had feelings for Clyde and it honestly seemed that the Jeffree boy had feelings for a lot of people and his 'cupcake' seemed to be his brain. That was the nickname Summer had given his private member and sure that may be weird, but Summer never claimed to be normal.
Summers room changed, because well there was two empty beds and herself. She had no roomates now. It made her sad, but at the same time Clyde seemed to have the same issue. She didn't like being alone in a room, but that meant that there was room for a small party in her room and well now looking around his room with the stereo and it being completely normal for him she figured why now do something normal to her? Why not try and get away with having a party in her dorm. A small one that would pry get into a big one. Hell, if she got caught Summer knew she'd pry go up a level, but she always slid under the radar and why not end up going up with a bang?
"Geez, boyfriend clean your room." she joked, but that was just cause she was a clean freak. A little OCD at times, but she didn't live in here so it didn't bother her too too much.
The whole being together well Clyde made her feel alive in a different way. It was great and the fact that he was always happy despite his problems never seized to amaze her and it always put a smile on her face. The feeling was mutual and it was well she didn't know what to call it, because Summer didn't say the word love really. Though, she'd grow to she was sure, but right now that word had yet to escape her mouth, though he'd wait for her which was the beautiful thing about him. That and those eyes they really kind of in a way put a spell on her and drew her in.
His attitude made her role her eyes playfully of course, because that was so Clyde, coming up with a comment like that. "Yeah, Hope missed you too is there a story behind that?" she joked knowing it was only Hope being sweet like she usually was saying she missed that crazy kid, but also because Hope and her made friends and anyone with half a brain could tell that Clyde really made Summer happy. He was well this sounded bad but he was tied with her addiction. Was that bad? Probably so. She watched him put away his ipod and kind of bobbed her head back and forth for a moment thinking of something else she could say to his little comment. She smirked. "Psh..like you didn't miss me." she said and pouted a little just to get him to say it though she was sure he might have just a little bit.
Summer took her drink and smiled leaning down and kissed his cheek. "Thank you." she said opening it and taking a small drink before setting it down on his desk not on the papers, but near them and making sure it was proper so it wouldn't fall and ruin anything. "I've been okay I saw my parents this week..." she said over dramatically roling her eyes and shaking her head. When he said he had been writing songs she grinned. Zac use to sing her songs. Was that weird that she just had that thought? She shook it out of her head and had a moment where she kind of couldn't keep her body still it was the drugs. Then she put a finger in her mouth biting at her fingernail a little bit to calm herself down. She suddenly felt bad that she was slowly losing control of herself and she had just got here. Though, he knew this when he started liking her and stuff...but it did make her feel bad cause well she should've been sober.
Summer watched her boyfriend cassually sitting back. She could do that if only she tried. She could conqueer all else, but she hadn't yet. When he started off and stopped Summer thought it sounded pretty, but he stopped and started talking. "Hey, you tease...of course I want to hear it." she said sitting down on the bed making sure she didn't hit not chords or anything and folded her legs up to one side leaning against the wall as well letting her head roll to face him wearing a smile. She twiddled her thumbs a little trying to control herself for this special moment. "Please." she asked nicer.

"That's your job woman," he teased before grabbing on to her hands gently but firmly for safety reasons and because he knew he totally deserved to get hit for that one even if it was a joke. "I'm kidding, don't hurt me," he said, giving her those pleading puppy dog eyes which worked perfectly for him considering his were the biggest, bluest eyes in a ten mile radius.
"Who needs a story when you're this awesome?" he asked with a grin. It was funny how he managed to get away with saying that and not sounding completely arrogant or anything. When it came down to it, Clyde wasn't that sort of a person. He didn't really think he was the greatest thing on the planet, he just liked to say it because it came out funny most of the time.
"I always miss you," Clyde answered back with an abundance of sincerity because he did mean every word. He even looked up at her with a smile. He didn't know what he would do if either of them had to leave and he didn't want to think about it either.
"Yeah? How'd that go?" he asked, knowing a bit about Summer's relationship with her parents. He didn't want to pry but if she wanted to talk about it then this was her chance to, otherwise, Clyde would just drop it and move on.
Clyde watched her for a second, only now noticing that something was up. Everytime Summer was around everything was a blur but a perfect blur so it wasn't shocking for him to miss that something was a little off about her. He said nothing for the moment though. He was cool to try drugs every now and then and just be crazy but to be addcited to it and do it all the time was a bad thing, even he knew that but he didn't want to be another person nagging her about it. Clyde would try and deter her in his own subtle way.
"Oh you do?" he teased. Of course she wanted to hear the song her boyfriend wrote, and even if she didn't she was obligated to. It was like in the rules or something. "Well you're obviously high or something so I dunno if you'd be able to fully enjoy the amazingness of this song," he teased but still with a smile so it was obvious he wasn't judging her for it. He clearly wasn't serious and she did say please so he wasn't going to say anymore about it.
"Alright, since you asked so nicely," he said with a smile. He really wasn't going to judge her for the whole drugs thing and he didn't want her to feel bad about it so other than that one statement it was all good and once he played his song, he hoped it would be long forgotten, cause he didn't want to be that guy, he just wanted to help. "Prepared to be blown away. This one's called Spider," he told her before playing the song. She hadn't actually heard him sing before either so this would be something.

The whole clean your room comment well it took her a minute to realize he had been refering to her, because of the drugs or maybe it was just a Summer thing. Either way she caught on slow and before she can like flick him or something he had her hands. "Is that what you keep me around for?" she asked jokingly and she saw those eyes and she just laughed. She moved forward a little bit acting like she was glaring into them, bust she couldn't help but crack a smile. "Im not mad that you're sexist.." she joked back and leaned forward pecking his lips then leaned her forhead against his. "Do you think I'd really hurt you?" she asked him raising a brow. Though, with Summer sometimes you just didn't know...
"Mhhhhmmm, you're lucky I'm not jealous of her..." she said with a shrug. She couldn't say jealous type, because she did get jealous of certain people sometimes. Like Jacobi, she would have never admitted it to him, but well they spent a lot of time together and Clyde well he was pansexual, so sometimes it left her curious, but right now she didn't need to be jealous, because he wasn't the cheating type. After all she was the one that had trouble with commitment if anyone should have been scared it was him. Though she didn't dare think of cheating on him. She really did like the dude. She only laughed at him a little and shook her head. He was quite the little comedian sometimes.
When he said that Summer just smiled. It was moments like those that gave her those butterflies she told her friends about. Though, she didn't dare tell him that she had them, because he would be the kind of person that would totally use that to his advantage though he did in a sense. Maybe, Zac had told him? Oh she'd kick his butt if she ever talked to him again...or well threaten to. "You're cute" she said smiling back at him. That was the two words that sounded like Summer without giving too much away. She would hate to have left here. No, she'd take him with her screw the rest of her stuff Clyde could so fit into her travel bag...but then that'd be kind of skeptical. He'd know how much she truly felt towards him and letting that out sometimes to her was a little bit scary.
When he asked about her parents she let puffed up her cheeks with air then let it out rolling her eyes in abundance. He didn't have a good relationship with his Mom, but her parents just didn't even really like her all that much they adopted kids that they liked! That was what made it suck for Summer. "Its over..." she said with a smile. "Basically, they came here to kind of vacation not really see how I was doing I don't really know what the point was of taking me out of school for a week, but heyy I'm back home so I'm good." she said and smiled moving on. She really didn't know what to tell him about her parents? Eventually , she would talk about them when this relationship got more and more serious...meaning when she grew the guts to say that four letter word to Clyde.
Summer often got the lectures of how bad drugs were for you and how they killed stuff in your body and your brain cells. She wasn't stupid! It wasn't about that for her. It was fun, but it was more then that. He stayed silent and she turned her head away for a moment shutting her eyes and clenching her fists up into balls. One of the side affects was grinding your teeth and well she was grinding them without really noticing for a moment until she really thought about trying to snap back to reality for a moment. Yeah, that'd help for about a split second to get her to focus. She opened her eyes and looked back at him. "Sorry." she said and cleared her throat.
"Yes." she said and pouted her lower lip and kind of looked down at the same time her lip looked kind of fat to her. It caused her to laugh. When he said she was high well that just proved his point even more. Her eyes glanced up at him. "I can handle it....I promise I'll try and behave just hold on a second...she said taking it a bit serious and she sat up against the wall her posture better her feet straight out and her hands folded on her lap. Yeah, fighting drugs rarely worked, but she'd try to like behave for the song at least. This was important to her.
"Mkay, I think I'm good." she said looking straight forward not to be detered.
She smiled when he agreed to it and didn't say anything more about the drug issue. She knew it was something she had to fix, but it was easier said then done. Prepare to be blown away huh? She was sure she would be she hadn't heard him sing before. 'Spider.' that was an interesting name for a song. She listened to the lyrics really listened as he played the song for her. It moved her in a sense. She didn't know if this was about her or not, but well the drugs had her picturing Clyde with white spider legs crawling over her bed.. It was sweet. She was kind of speechless, but she'd speak in a moment..
[/blockquote]
[/blockquote][/blockquote]
.
"Oh really.." she said tilting her head to the side raising a brow stepping back from him a bit, but he still had her arms in fear that maybe she'd hurt him or something. That wasn't the plan.
"And what if I don't stick around to clean or make sandwiches for you what then?" she joked she was trying to slowly pull her hands away, but he was stronger then her so she stopped as to keep the slight strength she did have in their little game of tease.
"What if I stay just because I want to be with you and not clean or make you food." she said clarifying so he didn't take that the wrong way like she was leaving him or something, because that was the farthest thing on her mind.
"Or what if I just stay because you have a wild sex drive and I'm using you for that." she said throwing something back at him jokingly. That was so not it either though a lot of what they did in the passed was sexual she was fully trying to get to better understand him and the date was something that had really sold her and all his cute little gestures, plus his kick ass personality.
Summer only smiled at his statement and nodded in agreement.
"Very smart answer, but I wouldn't hurt you." she said flat out being serious as she cleared up his thoughts.
"I might tickle you or something childish like that, but I wouldn't hurt you." she said having one of her honest moments. He brought that out in her more and more. She really just did know that she wanted him to know she wouldnt' hurt him. Summer could try and be upset playfully, but he didn't bring out that side in her yet, and she doubted he was capable of it period.
"I know," he said. It would suck if she got jealous cause Clyde was just all over the place. He would cheat but he had friends everywhere so he had to divide his time up and he knew it might annoy her sometimes or she might get at least a little mad like the time him and Jacobi almost ditched them for steaks. Yeah bad idea. Ditching a girl for food? Apparently they don't like that... Who knew?
Summer felt horrible for the one night where Jacobi and Clyde just wanted some damn steak and she was playing clingy. She didn't like it when girls wouldn't let guys do what they want, but she didn't know what came over her. Maybe, she just wanted to see Clyde at that moment? She realy didn't know. She bit her lip and shook the thought. She did get a little jealous of the dude, because he was Australian, funny, fun, and she wasn't sure if Clyde would have considered not seeing her for him, and sure it was a weird thought, but well she couldn't help it. He had some good qualities and well if he had went after Jacobi then...no she didn't need to be throwing herself around her brain like that they were together she shouldn't be jealoous or pondering what ifs.
"I am jealous of those papers though and that pen...you touching and marking them.." she joked trying to sound sexy, but she couldn't help but crack a laugh, because it was just to weird.
Her eyes went wide as well, not as wide as his beautiful big blue ones, but she was kind of trying to 'match' him. She knew passed that look a little bit. He wasn't concited he made comments and his eyes would light up like the sky trying to be all serious and what not, but well she was staring to see passed it.
"I know right." she said trying to be cocky but failed once more as a smile crept up on her face.
"You're cute I agree." she caved.
Summer just shrugged and kept the smile on when he said their loss. That was nice of him, but sometimes she wondered what it would be like if they could just accept her, but then she pry wouldn't have met Clyde so she nodded.
"My gain." she said with a wink not sure if he would know what the meant, but she did.
Focusing for long periods of times on drugs became easier over the years when you had to full someone. Teachers, shrinks, faculty members, parents, friends....though most times werent as successful and certain cracks would make you mess up. It was weird, but Summer tried to focus in on stuff when she felt it was proper and she was high. She was good at decpetion it was a game she played often. He started to play and she shut her eyes listening to the music feel the air. She was excited, because well this was the first time she got to hear him play and the first time she got to hear him sing.
The way he was playing as if he was playing a show for people or something he was just so into it. It really made her heart kind of race and she sort of got chills. She really liked his voice and the way he was so into the song, because it made it that much more enjoyable. Of course, whenever a boyfriend played a song for a girl it was so cilche' they'd go goo goo or whatever. Summer was really enjoying it as her eyes opened and she watched him. She didn't want to give too much away while she listened because that would distract from her focus.
The song really made her picture everything she had kind of been through with Clyde. How she at first wouldn't give into the relationship and it was kind of just a sexual experience/friendship. Then their one date where he pulled out a lot of stops and how creative it was. She then got a picture of him with white spider legs crawling over her bed well a few times. The words really sunk in and as the song ended and he spoke she kind of had to snap out of being so focused on the lyrics. She sat their rather silently for a bit, because she was kind of surprised by how in tune his song was. Summer wasn't having a cliche moment she really liked the song depsite it being about them..or her.
"I think that was truly amazing." she said finally saying something so the silence didn't upset him, hurt him, or worry him. She nodded her head a bit and she smiled. She looked down at the bed for a moment it was kind of funny how one song could really get to her and she knew it had meaning to him to, but she couldn't help herself drugs or not that song had her mind in a whirl wind. Someone didn't want her to leave him even though the two had only known eachother for such a short time.
She bit her lip looking up at him. Summer didn't cry...well she didn't want to cry, but she had water in her eyes, becuase she needed to know something all over this song as her mind raced and her heart kind of fluttered.
"That song says a lot, the way you act says a lot, but I have a question...and answer it as truthfully as you can setting aside how I feel about relationships and anything else." she said seriously looking him in the eye.
"What do you truthfully feel for me...I mean I know I'm newly your girlfriend and that song and all your gestures, but I've never really got to ask." yeah summer was on a build up a rollercoaster and if he told he how he truly felt he might actually like the result of her crash down.
