She was definitely loving this warm weather. The sun on her cheeks, the ability to wear shorts and tank tops without getting cold. It was definitely something that she looked forward to when she woke up. Of course, she first felt self conscious, with how small she was, but she was slowly gaining more weight so she looked more healthy than when she first arrived. It actually made her feel... better about herself, I guess you could say. Alex hadn't been hassling her about her weight, so she was slowly feeling better. As she walked out of the school building, she quickly pulled her sunglasses out of her bag and placed them on her nose, so that they covered her eyes. She let her brown eyes look up at the blue sky, before a grin came to her lips and she walked down the paved sidewalk next to the grass.
Hope didn't really know where she was headed, but she knew that she was going to take advantage of the cloudless, warm day that was ahead of her. Finally, she stepped into the green grass, walking to wherever. She didn't really know. Watching as other students walked past her, she smiled when she realized that people had the same idea as her. Then, all of a sudden, she seen the cutest thing dash across the field. Her eyes widened and she walked closer to the small animal that had stopped just a few feet in front of her to rest. She crouched down and let her arm out, letting the small animal sniff her before she hand her hand through its gray fur, "Yes, that's a nice kitty," she said with a grin. She played with the kitten for a few minutes, before she heard a teenager yell out that was close to her. The kitten scratched her hand and ran away, making her upset. She sucked on the scratch for a moment, before standing up and looking over at the teenager with a glare, "Are you a fucking idiot!? Quit acting like your five years old and you want a juice box," She said, placing her hands on her hips. She just stared at the teenager for a moment, before walking off, towards the lake.
"Ow, that hurt," She muttered to herself, looking down at the scratch as it started to swell around the edges of the scratch. She let out a sigh and placed her hand by her side as she finally made it to the lake. She took in a breath of the smell of the water, before sitting down close to it. She leaned back onto her elbows and closed her eyes for a moment, allowing her body to relax as she soaked in the sun that was beating down on her naturally tan skin. She then let a relaxed smile come to her lips, before laying back in the grass, letting her brown hair spill behind her.
