Willow never fully understood why girls panicked and spent the entire day getting ready for dances or proms. She usually laughed at them. Until now. She could tell why they got so frantic. The showers had been full by the time she got there, and she had to wait for ever for an open stall to use. She would have had to get here early in the morning if she wanted to be ready in time. Though, she knew she could pull it off. It wasn't like she was wearing a dress that took an hour to put on. Girls were running around like they were in a zoo. By the time she got back to her dorm, it was about an hour or two before the dance started. She quickly grabbed her dress, putting it on. The dress fell maybe six inches before her knees After putting on her shoes she moved to make-up and hair. She straightened it, letting it fall down to her mid torso,then puffing it just a little.

Slowly she started painting on her eyeliner, making all the right curves, acting as if her face was a canvas. She blotted on some gloss, added some nail polish. Then moved onto the jewelry. She wanted to look great for tonight, even if Alex liked the way she looked any day, she felt that she needed to dress up. She wanted tonight to be perfect, it was after all their first date, since they never really went out. So she was pretty nervous, in all the good way of course.

She looked into her mirror, a small smile spreading across her lips, Alex was damn lucky to see her in a dress, since well, she never would dress this way ever. All her thoughts floated away when she heard a knock on the door, and she went to open it. Happy to see who was there.
