Cass was excited for the dance, so excited she had her dress picked out the moment she heard about it. Way before she bought Hayden as her date and far before she knew exactly who she was going with. She liked these things, school functions and dances and anything that gets her out of her room and around people. So she was already ready way fast. Hell she started getting ready the moment she woke up that morning. It was how happy she was. She curled her hair and tilted her head as she stared at herself and placed in her cute ice cream earrings before turning her head side to side and smiled brightly.
She smothed her dress and slid on her flats before skipping out of her dorm. She had no clue where Gaby was, she hadn't seen the girl in a little while. She was only slightly curious to where the girl was. But at that moment in passed in a heart beat, especially when she made it to the dance. Hell she was super early, probably the first one to finish getting dressed. She was way happy. WAY happy. So she smirked and grabbed punch and drinked before beginning to dance around in circles.
That was how happy she was, she skipped around and twirled to the music. Hell it was fun all by herself. She just couldn't wait for Hayden. Though she wasn't sure if she liked him or if she only did it so Zac would stop calling her weird. Yeah it was true, she tried not to think about being 'passionate' with anyone. She was afraid she'd be like her mom. Zac told her otherwise, but she was still afraid. So sex was off limits to her. Very off limits to her.
So instead she played with trains and kept herself entertained in other kiddy ways. It seemed like the best option to her, and so she was dancing like crazy, but slowly her mind slipped to Hayden and if she liked him. She wasn't so sure, he was sweet and very cool. She liked him, but like like? She wasnt' sure. She was just happy to be going to this dance with someone she knew. That was exciting in and of itself.
