history: alex was born in austin, texas, to a surgeon dad and an artist mom. his life was well off, at first. his parents got a steady income, and once alex started elementary school, he was instantly a hit, especially with the girls in his class - he always did have that natural cute look about him. as hew grew up through the years, alex's life began to change. he graduated elementary school and went on to junior high, which was much different for him - while he had been immensely popular in his small elementary school of 150 kids, he was now no one within the huge texan public school he attended. in those times, alex was incredibly impressionable, and he ended up getting caught in the wrong crowd. he began experimenting with drugs, and started liking guys and girls equally. junior high molded alex into what he is today, and he is always grateful for it.
alex met connor jean in his freshman year of high school. though connor didn't do drugs at first, alex quickly manipulated him into becoming his drug bud. the two spent immense time with each other being baked beyond recognition, and nowadays, alex only remembers those times in a foggy, drug induced blur. as alex and connor became closer as friends, alex began taking an interest in his little sister, hope. she would hang out with them as they smoked joint after joint, and no matter how hard alex would try, hope wouldn't try drugs with them. this infuriated alex - he was used to people doing what he wanted them to do, by that time he had already become a novice con artist. one day, when the three of them went to a large party, alex got an idea. as he was about the play the game pharmacy, where he'd pick three pills out of a bowl and hope the mixture wasn't fatal, he spotted hope walking up the stairs, which had been relatively abandoned all night. ditching the game, he went and followed her.
hope had gone into the bathroom, and he waited patiently outside the door. when she opened it, he pushed her back inside and locked the door, proceeding to rape hope in attempt to regain his forceful power over people. after the party, alex's mother found an empty alcohol under the bed and sent him to hawthorne immediately, where he soon caught up with his best friend connor..... and hope, too.
