history: James grew up with his parents still together. Sadly though, shortly after his sister was born when he was 4, his parents split. Leaving him to travel between houses for the good portion of his life. Some say that having 2 rooms, 2 houses, 2 of everything is the best. Sadly he would disagree. It meant more trouble for him than what it was worth.
His parents constant fighting even though they were separated led to him rebelling. He could get away with anything and everything because one parent would blame it on the other, and then just fight and he’d get out of any punishment. Smoking became a big thing of his, then it moved to weed, then to other drugs, until eventually he went to acid. He never stayed on one drug or too long. He had money, since he’d convince both parents that he needed some amount o money for something, then just keep it. Having two parents that don’t talk unless they had to was a great thing at times.
He was caught with the drugs and incarcerated for a short period of time before his parents bailed him out. They then realized what he was spending all their money on. Drugs. He wanted an escape and he had gotten it. His high school heard about him being incarcerated and reprimanded him for it as well. They even told him that they were “watching him”. He was on probation for a while. Basically under house arrest in his moms opinion, that was until he went to live with his dad. He didn’t want to deal with her strict rules. There he met his ‘love of his life’. He realized that he liked both guys and girls, and he was fine with that. His dad on the other hand wasn’t. He began setting him up with other girls and hitting him when he would resist.
After being hit enough times he just began letting his dad do it. Aggravating his father until he actually did hit him, that was when pain became a new outlet.
