I'VE SEEN YOUR FROWN and it's like looking down the barrel of a gun
Jeff staggered towards his dorm door, his vision occasionally dulling to a blurry haze, but he powered through it. He was just a little over the buzzed stage, just under the " I want to destroy everything " level, he was in fairly good shape. Giggling, the boy walked merrily, and aimlessly, down the hallways. The room wasn't even spinning yet. Good shape indeed. He had a goofy smile just beaming from his lips. His eyes heavily rolling as the scenery around him passed by.
By some miracle, he found himself in the kitchens. For a moment, he just blankly stared. Absolutely nothing crossing his mind whatsoever. Then, abruptly, with a groggy hiccup and a short giggle, Jeff meandered over to the stove. " Pots and pans, yeaaah buddy. " He said, completely to himself, whilst pulling out a pan or two from the cabinet below. In a crude manner, the boy slid the cooking devises onto the stove. Apparently he was in quite the culinary mood.
From round the kitchen, he gathered anything that caught his eye. Which totaled up being; a box of easy mac, cookie dough, and some good ol' bacon. The perfect plethera of perfectly rational, and compatible ingredients. Jeff dropped his quarry upon the counter, just next to the stove. Not quite ready to cook up the best meal in history yet. There was certainly something missing.. but he couldn't quite place his finger on it.
Eventually, it hit him. Bread. Bread for the best sandwich ever known to man-kind. Giddy with happiness, Jeff scurried over to the food pantry. His eyes slowly scanned each individual item, until finally, he spotted the bread. " Whatch'you know bout bread. " He once again chimed comically, quickly grabbing the bag of bread from the pantry. Now, to face the other components. He removed the little bag of easy mac from the box, ripping it open and spilling its contents into one of the pans. They didn't look very soft.. or cheesy or warm. Perhaps turning up the heat would melt them? But of course. With a furrowed brow, Jeff turned the knob to start up the stove. It clicked once or twice, and then that familiar ring of flames plumed up. Pleased with his work, he also threw on the bacon, and even the cookie-dough. So there wouldn't be as many steps. A sigh of content was all he had left to give, as he leaned back on the counter behind him, and watched his meal sizzle in triumph. milky smoke twisted through the air as mari blew out the last precious bit of the joint she held in her hand. she had never been too fond of roaches - who wanted to burn their fingers trying to get high on the resonated shit at the end? she flicked the joint down onto the ground, right next to hawthorne's grand fountain. it wasn't like the staff would ever catch her, and if they did, oh well. she'd light up another, right in their fucking face. marilyn wasn't spineless like most kids at hawthorne - they didn't call her shark for nothing. mari kept her promises, and if she promised to hurt you, she really would, anyway she can. no one scared her. no one even dared to try. dominance was something mari always obtained eventually, but at hawthorne it had been too freaking easy. she took a deep breath, finally smelling spring the the south haven air. and of course, pot. two very delicious smells. she stepped on th joint to kill it and spun on her heel back toward the dorms. she had been planning on getting high and then polishing off the grey goose she had hidden in her bag, but something else came over her mind. the kitchens. everyone knew that if you didn't eat something while you were piss drunk, you'd inevitably puke. she changed her direction and walked slowly toward the building, her high mind taking in everything around her. she reached the door and pulled hard on the handle, surprised at how light is really was. in flung open with a crash, and she giggled absentmindedly, stepping into the dark room. suddenly, she heard other noises. another person. flicking on the light switch quickly, a smile came over her face when she discovered who it was. not someone she wanted to hurt, or someone she promised to kill. it was good ol' jeff. "hey kid!" she said, bouncing toward him giddily. just by looking at his face, she knew he was fucked up. she spied the ingredients he had layed out on the counter - bread, cookie dough, bacon, and macaroni and cheese. she shook her head, amused. "you crazy little fuck."mari remembered the bottle of alcohol in her bag. though it seemed jeff was already drunk off his ass, why not heighten the party? she was always down to get drunk with a friend. unzipping the bag, she whisked the bottle out and flashed it in front of him. "mind getting a little more shit faced?" she said with a toothy grin, enthusiastically twisting off the cap, throwing it to the floor, and taking a huge gulp. and then another. and another. she took the bottle away from her lips and gasped at the burning sensation tingling down her throat. handing the bottle to him, she looked at his cooking ingredients again. "so uh, whatchya plannin' on makin'?" she laughed. she remembered the times when she had hated jeff, for no good reason it seemed. she considered him one of her closest friends now, along with hope. it was weird how she had befriended a good girl and a 'slutduck' as they affectionately called jeff. rough edged marilyn usually didn't make friends, but she couldn't ask for better ones - they were badass, which is marilyn's book, meant the best friends anyone could have. words , five hundred seventy one. outfit , click.tagged , matty with jeff. notes , hii c:

The meal was coming along swimmingly. Who didn't adore the aroma of bacon and cookies both mixed together in the air. He closely watched, enthralled with each and every little bubble that popped and crackled from the pan. Suddenly, the door crashed open. His body snapped back slightly, but his reflexes were too diluted for anything too hasty. He briefly struggled to focus on the person who walked through, blinking hard to hopefully flush the blurriness away.
As the girl walked in, he tilted his head. Who the hell was that. He stared for quite a bit, until the face finally registered. " Marilynnn.. " He groaned, laughing uncontrollably for a good 8 seconds. Another loud pop shot from the pan. The cookie-dough was begging to look more solid. Slightly disoriented, Jeff turned, and leaned over the pot. He eyed the dry, hard macaroni noodles with sheer hate. Squinting, he poked at one with his bare hand, and pulled away. Obviously burned. " Haha. ow. " The intoxicated fellow murmured. Turning back to Mari, he smiled. He placed a finger on his lip, and another on hers. And with a giggle, he whispered " Don't cuss sharky shark snark. There's children." And with that, he turned back around. Again leaning over the pan like an idiot. For a minute he zoned out, his eyes rolling in his head as he once again attempted to get them to focus. Though once the bottle of Grey Goose was in his hands, everything seemed clear. As he tilted the bottle towards his lips, he stumbled backwards, terribly off balance. " Jesus. " He said before taking a few heavy gulps. He'd been drinking vodka earlier, so it pretty much just tasted like water, but he enjoyed every bit of it anyway. Smiling, he staggered over to Marilyn, not even hesitating as he wrapped his arms around her waste. Pulling her in close, as he used his other hand to take another swig of the beverage, and then wrapping it back around her again. " Mari. Mari. Mari, " He paused for a giggle and snort " Let's grow old together. In every way. Evarryy' wayy.." Jeff blurted, hiccuping soon after. Luckily he was a heavy weight, and could drink atleast a cup's worth of alcohol before becoming completely smashed. And hopefully she wouldn't have to see his aggressive side. "you're such a goof," she laughed as she watched him hang over his weird choice of food drunkenly. he had definitely been off the rocker for a while. the kitchen became thick with the smoke from the bacon, it seemed so much sound was echoing throughout the walls. marilyn had taken some pretty big gulps, but she definitely wasn't as drunk as jeff. but she certainly wanted to be. mari was known for being a notorious pothead, and though she always got a little high before she got drunk, she liked the change of scenery. while she was high, she had control. but once drunk... nothing held her back. though some may see that as reckless behavior, this was marilyn's favorite lifestyle. the whole reason she was at hawthorne. and to be honest, she didn't really want to leave - hawthorne sucked, had poor management, and didn't cure a thing, but the people were a blast. and it was so easy to break someone's backbone if she had to. of course, this always came easy to shark. suddenly the drunken jeff was putting his finger on her lips. she laughed and pulled away. "children? i'll punt 'em across the football field." she said, her dark humor always coming in. she couldn't help it, she found bothering or hurting others fun. but sometimes, it was complicated - like with little red, or zofia, whom she wanted to get badly. but jeff was protective of her, and she didn't want to hurt him in the process. it was weird how a few rare people could stop mari of all her bad intentions. but the kid meant a lot to her, weather she liked to admit it or not. as jeff wrapped his arms around her waist, she thought for a moment of what this might turn into. getting more drunk would make it better for her. she took the bottle from jeff and drank heavily, wishing she could drink every last bit of it's deliciousness. a thought formed in her head. she knew where a hideout spot for alcohol was in the kitchen. she pulled away from him with a smile and headed toward the freezer, opening it and searching through the freezing cold contents. she soon found the prize, a bottle of slightly frozen, creamy berry tequila. she wiggled the bottle in front of his face and busted it open, giggling a bit as the grey goose took it's effects. her mind shaking a bit, she took a large gulp, feeling the cold cream-like stuff slide down her throat, soothing the grey goose's burn. it hardly even tasted like tequila, more like candy. "grow old? ah man, i don't wanna get old. maybe i'll die young." she leaned into jeff a bit, handing him the bottle with a smirk on her face. words , four hundred and sixty two. outfit , click. tagged, matty with jeff.

As Mari pulled away, he felt slightly disappointed, but watching her walk away made him feel better. How? By looking at her ass of course. He smirked to himself, elated with his clean-sweep. Then she turned back around, and his eyes traveled back up to her face fast as they could. Though they didn't stay there long either. In her hand flashed a cold bottle of some sort of foreign substance.
He watched as she took a few gulps, the same thirst irking in his mouth. Without warning the room began to tilt a little. Causing a frightened little jolt to shoot up his spine as he feared falling. Again, he blinked hard, trying to ward off the disoriented sights his eyes were producing. He ran a hand through his bangs, groaning with angst and discomfort. Despite delay, his eyes soon focused, and he happily took the bottle from Marilyn.
The liquid smoothly flowed down his throat, soothing his mind for a minute. Then he looked back to Mari, who had a peculiar smirk on her face." Haha. What man? " He asked curiously, though he smiled back. The scent of burning food suddenly became apparent. Frustrated, Jeff walked over to the pan with wobbly legs. It didn't look too burnt. The black crust added flavor right? Flicking off the heat, he picked up the pan from the handle, and dumped its contents onto the open slice of bread he had prepared on the plate. The cookie formed a perfect patty, and the bacon embedded inside it like the chocolate chips, looked like perfect little toppings. As for the macaroni.. well, maybe they could pass for a garnish. Whatever that was. How satisfactory. Then he looked back over at Marilyn, giving her the ol' look-up-look-down I'm totally checking you out glance. Laughing lightly, Jeff turned back to his sandwich, pressing the other slice of bred atop, wondering silently to himself over what she'd do. mari knew just what jeff was looking at as she had been walking to the freezer. part of that caused her smirk, the other part was just the pure glee over being drunk and high. marilyn was always a goof when she was drunk and high at the same time, the combination of both made her incredibly giddy. and of course, reckless and wild. she looked back at jeff, pensiveness in her gaze. she had to admit, she wouldn't mind hooking up with jeff - they were pretty close, and it seemed like things wouldn't change if something did happen. nothing would be awkward, or at least it seemed that way. she watched as jeff drunkenly zoned out from massive dizziness. he probably wouldn't even remember... then again, mari was perfect, who could forget time with her? "nothing kid. it's the drugs." she said, her smirk broadening. they both got distracted by the burning food at the same time. marilyn eyed him look at the odd circular cookie dough bacon mix with delight, though it seemed like a pretty odd meal to her. where would the macaroni come in to the weird concoction? before she found out, she noticed jeff give her a seriously noticeable glance up and down her body. her eyes gained mischievous light. it was pretty obvious what he wanted this to head to. and jeff wasn't the worst person to hook up with - in fact, it almost felt right. better than most kids available at hawthorne. he sandwiched the bread together and turned back to her, causing her to wrinkle her nose at the food he had made. she took the tequila from him, holding the bottle up in a cheers fashion and taking huge gulps at a time. she could drown herself in alcohol and be incredibly happy while doing it. mari knew she wasn't going to live forever, so she lived life in the fast lane while she could. slamming the bottle onto the counter, she let out a satisfied gasp and let the drunkenness blur her sight. she swayed a bit, spotting the grey goose and realizing there was still a bit left. she grabbed it greedily, nearly finishing it. when mari drank, she drank hard. she looked into jeff's eyes, the booze making her smile uncontrollably. she thought for a moment of what this encounter was going to evidently lead to, and decided she'd let it take it's course. why not, right? words , 415 outfit, click.tagged, matty with jeff.

I'VE SEEN YOUR FROWN and it's like looking down the barrel of a gun

The chugging sounds of bottles being drained filled the air. He watched for a good while, she was really going at it. The little girl downed the tequila, and the grey goose all by herself. Impressing Jeff on a number of levels. Biting his lip, the boy looked her back in the eyes, he wasn't too sure on whether she'd let him hook up with her or not. After-all, she was Marilyn. The most untouchable girl of the entire school.
For a moment, everything was pretty much silent. And although he was piss-drunk, he still retained some amount of reasoning. Marilyn was definitely not someone he wanted to be hated by. Not to mention he'd worked damn hard for his relationship with her, and wasn't about to flush it down the john. Fuck it.
Flashing her a charming smile, Jeff moved in for the kill. Everything quickly became hypertensive as he moved in real close, their foreheads ever-so-lightly touching. He wobbled a little, but found his footing, and gently pushed her back against the wall behind her. Well there wasn't any turning back now?
He pecked a few little kisses down her jaw-line, then giggled a bit and looked her back in the eye. Just to see if she was rearing her hand up to slug him in the nose. Though he didn't look too long, and with that, his eyes traveled to the prize. Blinking a few times, Jeff exchanged glances from her eyes to her lips before finally closing them, and sealing the deal.
Being a starting kiss, he pulled away after 5 seconds or so. She tasted really good. There really wasn't anything better than a hot girl who tasted like vodka and tequila. From then on he didn't really care what happened next. Well, he did, but he'd acquired his blue ribbon. So he awaited her reaction, grinning silently in conquest.

marilyn's world was spinning as she finished the grey goose. it was like she could really feel the earth moving under her feet, and she stumbled a little, giggling drunkenly at how messed up she was. high and drunk. you could say her judgement was off, but who the fuck cared? mari never regretted anything. everything she had ever done, or anything that had happened to her, had a reason, and if that something was bad? she'd get incredibly fucked up and forget about it. she looked up into jeff's eyes just as he looked into hers, and she thought for a moment. this would be something she wouldn't want to forget. a big part of her really liked jeff. this particular part always made her jealous when jeff flirted with other girls, even though she'd try incredibly hard to push those feelings away. standing in this kitchen with only the two of them around made it hard to do so. a few seconds of silence made her hold her breath. what was going to happen next? jeff smiled at her and went in. he stumbled a bit like she did, which made her laugh as she let him put his arms around her and push her back into the wall. the smell of tequila and vodka drowned her senses, but nothing was more enticing. she let him kiss her jaw line and closed her eyes for a moment, verifying that this wasn't a stupid move. he looked back into her eyes and she nodded slightly, knowing he was gauging her reaction. if it had been anyone else, she really would have punched them square in the jaw. but this was jeff. what they were doing felt... right. they finally kissed on the lips, and mari closed her eyes once more. it was a short kiss and she frowned a bit as jeff pulled away, only to see him grinning broadly at her. like he had won a prize. she giggled and leaned in a bit closer. "we're so silly," she whispered, kissing him lightly on the lips. she thought about all the other people she had been with at hawthorne - like rudy, or even max, who she hardly did anything with. none of them compared to jeff. and she didn't feel the same way about them as she did with jeff. rudy had been a big mistake, but she could already feel that jeff wasn't - even though she was piss drunk, she knew she wasn't being an idiot for hooking up with him. to be honest, he was the best guy at hawthorne. to her, at least. words , four hundred and forty four. outfit , click.tagged , matty with jeff. notes , SORRY it's sooo late!

I'VE SEEN YOUR FROWN and it's like looking down the barrel of a gun

As Marilyn's soft, petal like lips pressed back into his own, his heart skipped a beat. He couldn't hardly believe she kissed him back. Of all the girls in Hawthorne, she was possibly the one he desired most. He remembered how jealous he'd felt when he found out about Rudy, and when she flirted around with Max. Two guys he already loathed with a passion. He sulked in his thoughts for a brief moment. His drunken anger already beginning to seethe within him.
" Marilyn, " He paused to grab her hands, and held them near their thighs. " Tell me you don't like Max. " He continued. Jeff flashed her a shy smile, and rested his forehead on hers again. Eyes half open. He felt way off balance, so he tried not to move much. Although he forced the handicap away, but he wouldn't be able to do it for much longer. He gradually moved his face closer to hers, his eyes slowly closing with each gained centimeter. He kissed her tenderly, then he parted, and brushed his nose against hers. Teasing her as if he were going to kiss her again. Then he went back for a shorter, and even more passionate kiss. He wasn't doing too bad for someone who'd drank more than your average alcoholic step-dad. " I think... I think.. I should kill him." He said in a slurred voice, giggling shortly after. Though he was almost serious. Releasing Marilyn, Jeff looked over his shoulder. Everything had been engulfed in a huge, swirling mass. It was quite imposing. Yup, the alcohol was certainly taking its route. Then abruptly, he turned back to Marilyn. " I hope my mommy won't have to drive me home. That'd be embarrassing. " He exclaimed, looking around aimlessly. Expecting his mother to pop up somewhere. marilyn felt almost giddy - could she possibly feel that emotion? - as her and jeff kept kissing. she hadn't felt that way with rudy. and she didn't even try with max. she felt jeff's grip tighten with his thoughts. suddenly, he was pulling way from her. she bit her lip in an attempt not to frown, but the grimace came anyway. he grabbed her hands, holding them by her waist. his voice thick with drunkenness. "huh? max?" she questioned, almost forgetting the name. "oh, yeah max. you don't have to worry bout him... i like his attention, that's all." she giggled, leaning into him. their foreheads touched and she could feel jeff tilt a little. she felt a little clumsy, to. his weight pushed her back into the wall, a loud thud ringing in her ears as she hit the wall, their lips connected again, and mari almost felt winded. exhilarated. and, most of all, happy.... emotions she rarely felt, all in one night. it was almost enough to make her pass out. her and jeff parted again, but hung close, as if he were teasing her. a few connections later and jeff began to speak again. the dizziness of being drunk made her zone out for a second, but she tuned in and listened to jeff despite the clouds in her head. "that's a hard job. you up to it?" she teased, smiling widely. she had never felt so exuberant. it was like she was a completely different person - not a shark, more like a panda bear or something. pink and saturated with joy. it was intoxicating, trippy. her drunk mind did somersaults. jeff's mind seemed to be doing the same thing, and the two unbalanced fools swayed back and forth. jeff's face suddenly snapped back to hers, and she tilted backwards, his words confusing her. after a moment of solid silence, mari burst into laughter. "your mommy? she said, poking jeff in the stomach. "we're not in high school. far away from all parental figures... rural maine...:" she slurred, grabbing his cheeks "silly boy. silly duck!" she said affectionately, kissing him lightly on the lips. nothing could be better at that moment. it was like mari was solely high on life, not drugs and alcohol. words , three hundred and ninety one. outfit , click.tagged , matty with jeff.

I'VE SEEN YOUR FROWN and it's like looking down the barrel of a gun

As Marilyn burst into an uncontrollable laughing fit, Jeff couldn't help but subdue to the contagious sound. Tears of absolute hilarity welled in his eyes. This was one hell of a time. The feeling of her dainty hands tugging on his cheeks caused him to make a grumpy little face. He thought his idea was a good one.." It wasn't that funny.. " He protested, playfully, but still slightly embarrassed. Though her lips pressing into his dulled those feelings almost immediately. His cheeks flushed heavily, and a big ol' goofy grin spread over his face. Even though they'd been kissing on-and-off for the past few minutes, he suddenly felt like a 1st grader who had just gotten his first little peck. He wanted to tell the world. " Haha, Mariii.." He chimed, cracking up for a brief second and then silencing again. Jeff lightly bit his lower lip, and stared down at the now teetering floor. Too bashful to look her back in the eyes. Contrary to popular belief, he really wasn't all that confident with himself. He never really bragged about his looks, or how " cool " he was. Not very often at all. Where as Marilyn was the polar opposite. She never needed anyone to stand up for her. Or to tell her she was perfect. The gal already knew. He often found himself wondering what to say to her in such situations. Did she like compliments.. or were they just un-meaningful words. Did she want his attention.. or was he just another skirt-chasin fool. It was nearly impossible to detect. " Sharky," He paused. Mulling over what he was to say next, which did indeed take awhile. " I really like, like you kid. " He finally admitted. Although he definitely wanted to say love instead. Then he laughed, and softly looked back up at her. It was pretty funny. Being in love with a vicious creature of the ocean depths and all. And though he was merely a vicious creature of say.. your local.. pond? It some-how felt perfectly right. Or was that the alcohol talking.
