history: When Maxxie was 5, he had 'dreams' (he is unaware if these were dreams or true happenings) of both his parents raping him at different times. The 'dreams' scarred Maxxie and he went into a life of abstinence.
Maxxie found out his brother, two years his senior, was being raped by their parents too. When Maxxie found that out that is brother was also getting raped, he thought that the "dreams" were more of a reality. When Maxxie was 13, his brother 15, they made a suicide pact. Maxxie had an unpredicted after-school meeting which he tried to get out of but couldn't. He got home and went to his bedroom and saw his brother hanging from the ceiling with a note stapled to his own chest. Maxxie keeps the note everyday in memory of his brother.
From that night on Maxxie started stealing alcohol from his parent's alcohol cabinet. He drank at least one bottle over a three day period, to block bad memories from his mind.
His sophomore year he was admitted to Hawthorne for his secretive acts behind his family, and being drunk too often. He had stolen two thousand dollars from his family bank, and his parents were worried. What his parents didn't know is that Maxxie took most of his anger out on himself, and cut himself on his bicepts.
When he saw how much damage he did to himself when he cut, Maxxie started drinking to cover up his pain. Maxxie started drinking before he began to cut, but it got more serious his freshmen year.

Not that much personal confrontation. And, if he decided he wanted to take a book to his dorm to read, no one usually caught him. The library was one of the places he came often to steal. He had a thing for books, and this was his number one hit. Maxxie found a title that seemed interesting, and placed it inside his messenger bag.
