[/color] Alrighty, so, me being the idiot I am these idea probably are gonna need loads of tweaking, but bear with me here kiddos. So, first order of business, I definitely think we should make Hawthorne alot more school oriented. Cause right now we've really got nothing going on academic wise. Just a bunch of crazy kids running about causing trouble. I dunno how we would do this, but maybe we could make it like real high school where you've got to have a certain amount of credits.. etc? And all the students'll be able to pick their electives. Or something, kinda leaving that up to you guyss Also, since we're still on the school topic here, I'd like to see maybe a sports team or something? But the only problem I can see with that is We'd need a rival school(s) for our teams to be playing and competing against, and that'd be somewhat difficult to pull off. On the other-hand we could just pretend they're competing off-campus, and the students involved in such activities would be away for a week or so traveling to different tournaments or whatever. That sounds pretty fun to me c: There'd be girl and boy teams, and the members could vote on like, three main sports to have to choose from. AND THEEEN, we could have try-outs (we'll need coaches of course) so yeah, this'd be a fun thing to consider. Next on the agenda is gossip. Yes, gossip. Though it's already a pretty common occurrence here, displaying it in a more affective manner would be alot more scandalous in a sense. What I mean by this is that we should have some sort of student generated blog, or something, that let's all the other kids in on the latest news. Lots of sites already do this, but I've always enjoyed the little buzz it causes amongst the kids. Lastly, we need more graphics! You know, the little pictures over a board that gives you somewhat of an idea of what the place looks like and such. ex: Roof-top. and a picture of said roof-top over the board. This feature makes the site look alot more attractive, and makes roleplaying more descriptive. In addition, we also should have more detailed descriptions of like, the boards an' stuff. Give the members more to work with instead of just " this-is-where-so-and-so". Visuals make writing alot more interesting in my eyes. And that's all i've got for now. Tell me what you guys think, and if you've got any tweaks to these rather general ideas, have at it below. [/center][/blockquote] |

I was thinking of making the town have a high school. And then on the weekend trips the kids could inter mingle. (MEANING LOCALS!)
which would include university, high school, rather more things to RP. let alone the kids wouldn't know about the kids from hawthorne, well they couldn't tell which ones they were, and could create more drama.
the gossip thing is going into affect as far as i know. That's what the whole last poll was about. Problem with sports - would the kids really want them?

i actually like all of these suggestions. look at matty being all smart! but, forreal i really think we could do these. hill already beat you to the gossip board, and we have a poll set up to see how many people want to do it, before we put it up. i guess i could go looking through google from some awesome looking graphics for descriptions and all of that. because, i know when i have more detail about a place, my writing is alot better and longer and all of that.

@eliza: i think kids would do the sports. i know that i'd sign my characters up, because it gives them more things to rp about and stuff. besides, it's better than the kids just sitting around doing nothing, right?

i just gotta say, i'm all for the sports idea. we could have really popular sports such as football, basketball, soccer, baseball, and other minor sports like swimming and track and stuff. That's be an awesome thing to have, I think a lot of kids would try out. The teams could have Captains and Co Captains and i think it'd be really fun to put the swimming pool and the sports field/track into good use cx

george may... have to get more into character with him.

really we need more teachers, more counselors, in order for the whole academic thing.... that's the problem. is kids like making troubled kids, but not teachers.
