Hope is a very thin girl because of her eating disorder. She's tan, because of her latin background, but there are scars all over her legs, arms, and stomach from cuts and burns. She stands at only 5'3", so she's short compared to the average girl. She had long, dark brown hair that flows down, stopping at her chest, and light brown, almost a caramel color, eyes.

Her clothing sense is more on the girly side of fashion. She loves pastel colors, blouses, skirts, and heels. She will wear those alot of out her outfits. There are times when she just couldn't care less and she'll throw up her hair and put on a t-shirt and some blue jeans. She cares alot about how she looks most of the time, though, so it takes her a while to get ready. She usually wears her hair curly, but there are times when she'll straighten it.

Victoria Hope Jean was born on May 28, in Houston, Texas. She was born to a caring, rich family. Her family wasn't big, but it wasn't small either. There was her mother, Teresa Gonzales-Jean (38 years old); her father, Arthur Jameson Jean (45 years old); her older brother, Connor Davis Jean (18 years old); and her younger sister, Annabell Marie Jean (12 years old). Hope and Connor were very close. They would do everything together; ride horses, play piano and guitar, sing, and he taught her how to stand up for herself.

When she just got into highschool, she noticed her brother starting to become more rebellious. She tried to ignore it, still trying to do the things they would always do together, but her brother would ditch her for other friends. This hurt Hope, alot. She was determined that her little sister wasn't going to be abandoned by both of her siblings, so she started to teach Annabell how to play piano. Eventually, Connor started to talk to her again, but he was still more on the rebellious side than she was. Eventually, they got close again, but only because Hope started hanging around with his friends.

On May 27, a day before her birthday, Connor persuaded her into going to a party. It wasn't what she expected at all. There were girls there dressed like they were about to work as a stripper, drugs were being passed around, and there were only alcoholic drinks. Her brother handed her a drink and led her over to his friends. They all chat for a while, all the while Connor and his friends getting more and more wasted. Eventually, they all went outside and Connor brought out his guitar. He smiled over at Hope and they both started singing a song they'd written together. They only sang one song before her brother started goofing off and making crude remarks about his own sister.

Hope looked around at all of them before excusing herself to the bathroom. She walked upstairs and knocked on the door before walking inside and locking the door. She looked at herself in the mirror and tried to calm down. It seemed like she spent forever in there, but it was really only a couple of minutes. When she finally got the nerve to open the door, someone pushed her back inside. He pushed her up against the wall and slammed his lips on hers before she began to fight. She was a pretty good fighter, remembering what her brother had taught her, but she was no match for the man that had her pushed up against the wall. She finally got a good look at him and recognized who it was; her brothers best friend.

Now that moment in time really did seem to last forever. When he finally left, she fell to the floor in tears and took out her cellphone: 1:20 AM. She was raped on her birthday. For weeks, she tried to tell Connor, but he didn't believe her. Instead, he said she asked for it and started calling her names such as, 'slut' and 'whore.' This broke her heart.

It took weeks for her to come out of her bedroom, and when she did, she soon wanted to go back in. Her brother and his friends were down in the living room. When she walked in, they started yelling names at her and the person that had raped her started making crude remarks, saying that she needed to lose weight, talking about all that he'd seen when he saw her naked.

She lost all contact from her brother after that day. That was the day she also stopped eating. She didn't start hurting herself until she went back to school. Everyone had turned against her; they all called her names and told her she was fat. Soon, she dropped so much weight you could see her ribs. She starting cutting herself and would always wear jackets. Her family never noticed.

Eventually, Hope just got tired of being pushed around by her brother and his friends. So, while her mother was at work, she packed up her things, and other things that she deemed important, and ran away from that house. She ran two cities over and stayed in a rundown hotel. She stayed there for about two days, just to see if her mother would find her, before she did what she went there to do. She took her dads pain pills, almost the whole bottle, and cut deep cuts into both of her arms. A maid found her, maybe ten minutes later, and called 911. She woke up in a hospital just blocks from the motel with her mother crying at her side. When she had healed up, her mother told her that she couldn't handle the way that Hope was acting and looked up the best school for her to go to. When she found Hawthorne, she immediately sent her here to get better.
