appearance: Nicolette isn't particularly unordinary looking. While she is quite short, it works in her favor as she is known for hiding in small places. She's very strong as well due to her constant running and former kickboxing. Her face seems very innocent minus the dark circles under her eyes from a lack of sleep. It's common to see her figure with a white mask with a large circle and an X covering it due to her paralyzing fear of a man she calls "The Slender Man" which is why she actually started running. Her style is very normal for that of a girl in the alternative music scene. Skinny jeans, band tees and comfortable sneakers. She also has two tattoos the circle with the X in the middle of both of her wrists.

history: It all started with the death of Andrew Hawthorne, he killed himself via overdosing on vicodin and mixing it with vodka. Nicolette was the first one who found him dead in his room, he left a large shoebox in his room with the words 'for nico' on the cover in black sharpie. For weeks she didn't look at it, completely in denial over his death. When she looked at it, her parents kicked her out... Which caused her to stay at her friend's house.. Which is where she opened the box. There was a camcorder, and a ton of mini dv tapes. When she first went over them, there was nothing... Just footage of him, the family, and as she dug further-- it showed how quick her brother slipped into madness, almost as if something was chasing him... Something was.

As she ventured further into the rabbit hole, she began to dwell on this being who she was convinced she saw in the videos 'The Slender Man', something that was created on the internet-- But the thing was, there was actually a Germanic myth about Der Ritter, which eventually turned into Der Grosseman ( The Tall Man ). She ended up finding everything out about Proxies, and runners, and the stigma around it... Then things started kicking up badly. It started with a trip to Dogtown, and abandoned town in Massachusetts-- That's when she first saw him. Since then she had been running and running... Someone ended up finding her on a rooftop freezing to death and brought her to the police to help her find her family. When she was interviewed by a psychotherapist, they sent her here for 'delusions' induced by ptsd, and as for the large group of people that had seen 'The Slender Man they said it was folie à plusieurs' ( madness of many ).
