The day had come and gone and night had descended, darkening the skies leaving only the moon, stars and lights to keep the sports field lit. Most of the students of Hawthorne had gotten through their dinners and were mostly in their rooms or at least in one of the buildings but Merrick Charlotte had other ideas. Instead of being indoors, Rick was up on the bleachers, using the rows of seats and stairs as his own personal stage. He held his iphone in one hand with the earphones providing him with music as took a moment to ignore the world and dance to the music. He actually had a few half decent steps even managing to get a little creative with his use of the levels. This was fun for Rick. It wasn't the best thing ever but when he didn't have a hotel or a casino to play in, it was about as close as he could get to it. Sliding across one of the rows, Rick did a quick turn and stumbled a little, nearly falling over but having enough balance to keep upright. "Okay, that was not a good idea," he said out loud, speaking to himself. It was a common occurrence but when bored or alone, Rick prone to thinking out loud. At least it was obvious to him now that this wasn't the safest of places for him to be right now. OUTFIT

Jessi, unlike most of the students had come outside to enjoy the nice night air and at some point to stop and observe the stars. She wasn't big on astronomy but looking at the stars always made her feel so insignifacant and little which didn't happen a lot. Most eimes, she was the one doing the intimating and making someone else feel insignificant. For the moment though, she was just walking around the school grounds, a little too energized to sit still. She had her ipod in one hand with only one earphone in her ear and her other was stuffed in her pocket. It was starting to get a little chilly at nights but it wasn't so cold that it was uncomfortable or you felt frozen. She knew it was long past daylight but she had randomly hung her sunglasses on the neck of her sweater. She hadn't meant to bring them but just grabbed them without thinking.
Jessi could see some bright lights and knew that they were illuminating the sports field. A little tired of the darkness, she turned her body to face the light and walked quickly towards it. Aproaching the sports field, she saw a black form against the white bleachers. Getting closer, she took out her one earphone and turned off her ipod. Coming to one side of the bleachers, the one farthest from the form and also in shadow, Jessi looked up at the guy who if she thought of it looked likehe was dancing. Just a moment later, he slid down the rows closer to her and did a quick turn, which is when he almost lost his balance. Jessi smiled. It was a little funny to come upon someone who was dancing on the bleachers. Talking out loud, obviously to himself, he said, "Okay, that was not a good idea.
[/i] Jessi couldn't help but answer, "That's a little obvious." She stepped out of the shadows, laughing a little as she did so but just at the funniness of the whole scene, not specifically at the guy on the bleachers. OUTFIT;;[/size] NOTES;; So sorry it took so long. My younger brother got black ops and I swear has been playing it all hours of the day. lol[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Merrick stood up straighter as though the realization that he was not along was enough to spark a slight sense of self-consciousness. He didn't want to seem like the crazy weirdo who danced on his own in the middle of nowhere, yet here he was so it was already a little to late to go back on that one.
He squinted at the space where he thought the sound had come from before turning his music off and pulling out one of his earphones so that he could better hear should whoever it was speak again. He was certain it was a voice but he hadn't quite heard the words all that clearly.
He couldn't help but smile when she stepped out of the shadows though. One, because it was a girl and two, because it was a very pretty girl. She seemed like she'd be pretty harmless and although being here should teach him that looks could be deceiving, Merrick had never been a fast learner when it came to women.
"Well hello there," he greeted as he stepped closer to her to get a better look. He grinned when he saw that smile. That thick brown hair just hanging loosely, brushing against her shoulders like that. She was dressed quite casually and it was a stark difference to dressyness of his own attire but somehow Merrick found that to be an attractive trait.
To him, a girl in a hoodie and jeans was always the better option over a girl with a sparkly short dress and so much make up she might make a clown jealous. He suppose it was because that was what he was used to. The fake smile, the fake boobs and fake everything else made him appreciate and simpler things a lot more.
"Merrick Charlotte, court jester at your service," he said, spinning around again and doing it right this time before slipping his hat off and holding it to his chest as he bowed in a slightly exaggerated move. He did this all quick in one smooth movement and even smiled at her as though she were a princess and he truly was here for her amusement.

'Hello," Jessi said, looking the boy over and liking what she saw. He appeared to be dressed a lot less casual then herself which made Jessi kind of curious. She laughed a little as he did the same twirl he had just attempted but this time it worked right. He had bowed to her and held his hat to his chest. Jessi couldn't help but be a little impressed. She walked a little closer so they didn't have to talk as loud to be heard. Well, Merrick Charlotte, court jester, I'm Jessica Knight, but please call me Jessi. Nice to see that you actually can dance without falling off the bleachers." Jessi smiled to show she was just joking. It felt good to talk to someone who didn't seem like they knew the stories of her. It was refreshing.
It was always nice to meet a guy who knew how to dance. She had experienced some guys who just thought they were all that and couldn't dance worth anything. She decided to walk up on the bleachers, climbing upwards until she was on the same level as Merrick. Walking ove a little, she sat down. The bleachers were a little cool but nothing she couldn't handle. " So, Merrick, What are you doing out at this time of night, dancing on the bleachers?" Jessi leaned back and folded her hands behind her head, looking up at what, she really wasn't sure. You couldn't really see the stars here but figuratively the lights gave it a bit of a warm feeling. Jessi turned her head back to look at Merrick.
She felt a little apprieciative of the fact that, and she was a little shallow as she said this, but what she could see of his body was actually pretty easy on the eyes. And he could make a girl laugh. That was always a nice quality. It didn't matter that almost everywhere she went she was always labeled as the angry, violent teen, for now she could pretend that she was just a little bit normal and that always gave Jessi something to smile for. It wasn't like she always wanted to be angry but it had gotten her through her tough life and now she was stuck with it. That didn't mean she couldn't take a break for a little bit.

Merrick just grinned at the fine specimen before him. She was definitely something alright, that long brown hair, that smile, it was all kinds of good so far and she hadn't even threatened to hurt him yet which was always a good thing in this place. He watched as she moved closer, green eyes trailing her as she came forward.
"Knight? Talk about a coincidence," he said with a smirk. That was really something. A Knight and his usual crazy jester self... It was all coming together very nicely in a medieval fashion. Merrick could almost picture her as a lovely princess, though he would never see himself as a Prince, despite with his circumstances and the fact that he could totally buy a thrown with actual jewels in it if he wanted to....
"Aw, you doubt my skills? All because of that one little mistake? You know that was your fault right? The light was reflecting off your beauty and just got in my eyes there for a sec, completely threw me off," he said with hand gestures as he explained his elaborate lie. It wasn't so much of a lie as a funny story though, just one that was entirely false. Still, he figured it might amuse her highness for a second or two since she too had clearly been joking.
"Well, Miss Knight," he said before sitting down beside her. "I think I was waiting for fate to bring you to me," he said with a smirk before giving her a proper answer. "I dunno, I guess I was just bored," he admitted.
