history: Bryan Alfredo was a twenty-four year old Spanish consultant when he started dating Luis's mother. Luis was the third born of their relationship and the couple ended up having six children. Unlucky for Bryan was that he'd just moved into town and was a perfectionist in himself, he had no time to marry while he was settling in. Mariah, Luis's mother, was twenty-five when she was pregnant with her first borns, the twins. She didn't consider what she had with Bryan to be a relationship though she loved him dearly. She never saw him. She was lower-middle class and thought that was why he was ignoring her. He was a high class man and probably didn't have the time for a woman that worked programming software systems. She started to steal some of the money made from the company she worked for in order to impress him. Nobody suspected her when she was so nice, stable and disciplined within the company.

Unfortunately she was found out and had to move to the U.S.A impersonating a friend she knew that had died in order to stop the judgements. She was so naive and innocent that she expected Bryan to follow her. Instead he drove her mad. Telling her he could see her one moment, next he couldn't. One visit seducing her, the next she got the cold shoulder. Mariah became several personalities because of his behaviour. Even though she took the time to sit down to every meal with her children she was miserable company, always either sad or dream-like. Not a pleasant mother to talk to at a dinner table. Luis remembers seeing a careless and absent-minded man at the dinner table but they never called him 'dad'. At this time the oldest of Luis's siblings were the twins, Angel & Diablo. Angel was the most loyal to his mother of them all and when he was eighteen went in search for his father.

Diablo was the more paranoid type. Always assuming something terrible was about to happen. Luis was thirteen around this time and with his younger brother Kevin they formed a punk-rock band. Luis was good at this because he was decisive and his ideas always had to happen. After Luis left school he got a job in a law firm as a secretary while studying for a law degree. He eventually worked up to a job as a law consultant. Until one day when he made the mistake of sleeping with a woman at the office who seemed weak and in need of comfort, apparently having just found out she was adopted. She seemed surprisingly forgiving of her birth parents and Luis was so closed-minded about running loops around the law. He was an accessory. They slept together and she planted an enormous amount of money in his wallet before leaving the next morning.

Before Luis knew it, charges for prostitution were upon him. Not only that, this woman who he later found out had the name Eve Vanderpoole, was pregnant with his child. She's two months pregnant to this day and Luis was fired from his job, meaning he had to come somewhere that didn't view prostitution charges as defitting a law man. Apparently teaching meant they didn't care what he did in his personal life because he landed this teaching job even after telling him he was taken to court for prostitution. The child, last he heard, was a boy and Eve had decided to name him Eugene Wagner Vanderpoole. Luis had taken the plunge and proposed to Eve in a bid to help his son but a month later they were demanding a seperation from each other. They couldn't work past anything, simply incompatible. So now Luis spends most of his time depressed and gambling when he's not working. At least he works with kids more screwed up than he is.[/font]
