L E T ' S M A K E A S C E N Elike the movie in our dreams - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -It's been warmer than it has been since she's arrived in this terrible state. How could anyone handle such cold temperatures? Sure, she was used to cold temperature, like 30 degrees maybe, but not enough for it to snow. Not where she lived, snow was uncommon. Everyone would freak out if there was word about snow coming their way. She took a sip of her smoothie, something she almost always had with her. She could fix just about anything someone wanted to eat or drink, she was talented at that.
Briar let out a sigh and let her icy blue orbs scan the area that she was in. People here didn't seem too sociable, which she didn't like. She had to have someone to talk to, it kept her feeling sane and she could ignore her 'friends' that were always with her. She looked beside her to see Rose. She was the only person that could see her two friends, and they called her Schizophrenic. She couldn't exactly help it, though, they didn't come until her father had done all of those bad things right infront of her. She shuddered slightly at the memories. but she didn't dwell on them. She learned to just forget about the past and move forward. "Hurry up and eat, it's freezing out here," She heard the sound of Roses voice. She rolled her eyes and looked over at the girl.
"If you tell me to hurry up one more fucking time, I'm going to throw this apple at you," She said in a growling tone. After that, she didn't hear the girls voice. She took a bite of the apple and looked around again while she was chewing. She felt like a loner sitting all alone, well.. she wasn't alone, she had Rose with her right now, but it wasn't the same. Rose was always with her. "What if you're late to your next class because you're eating so slow?" Briar let out a frustrated sigh and took another sip of her smoothie.
Sure, she was happy that she always had someone to talk to, but sometimes she just wanted to be left alone. There were sometimes when she just needed to think, but no Rose and Nick just wouldn't leave her alone, "BRIAR! Hurry up!" She just sat there for a moment, before angrily chucking the apple in the girls direction, "Shut the fuck up! I'm trying to eat!" Her eyes floated to Nick, who was watching the two girls with an amused smirk, "Wipe that smirk off your face, or you'll be next." God, didn't she deserve some peace and quiet every once in a while?

marilyn clutched her large black pure close to her side as she made her way through hawthorne's long halls, which were lined with badly painted blue lockers. marilyn never used her locket. she carried everything she needed in her various juicy couture bags, like light textbooks and her homework, when she really did it. and her drugs. which was what her bag was stocked with today - weed, and a few shrooms. mari knew how to handle her drugs. she didn't have a problem, her grandmother did. she had a problem with mari's lifestyle, which wasn't mari's fault. she is who she is. not even hawthorne could change a stubborn mule like she. mari was already blazed for the day. she got high right in her dorm, no one bothered her. her sex addict lesbian roommate, lainey, didn't even mind. one could consider mari's behavior self destructive, but mari knew what the hell she was doing. and she was doing just fine. she wasn't addicted to meth or heroin. those were the only drugs she wouldn't touch. she wouldn't take after her addict parents. she was definitely a marijuana girl, and marijuana wasn't addictive. so no, she didn't need help. fuck you, hawthorne. she thought scornfully as she exited the building and headed toward the picnic area. it was incredibly cold - but mari was so used to it. she grew up in new york city, and the city experienced harsh winters and negative temperatures. today, it was near thirty, which was warm for mari, especially since it was february. february was usually considered the harshest month in winter, but this year, february had been mostly mild. not a whole lot of snow had poured down onto south haven, maine. the main hits had been in january. and who knew what march would bring? mari had always been into weather. it fascinated her. meteorology was one of her few favorite classes, and that was saying a lot for mari - she hated school. she looked up at the sky, which was blue bird blue. so beautiful, she thought, sighing contentedly. mari was always a gentle spirit when she was high, mari approached the picnic area, spotting a few kids eating lunch at one of the picnic tables, which were all covered in thick graffiti from nearly everyone at hawthorne. mari had carved a few things into the splintering wood herself. a pot leaf being one of her illustrations, a mushroom being the other. mari looked closely at the kids, spotting one girl who she had seen in hawthorne's infamous online chat. her name was briar, from what she could remember. maybe it was because mari was bored, or high, but for some reason, she approached the table. she smiled slightly. though mari never played well with others, her and briar had kind of gotten along after mari had stopped being too much of a bitch. "hey, briar, right?" she asked, taking a seat at the picnic table. mari did what she wanted. even if she wasn't invited to this little pow wow, she sat down anyway. mari could care less if they didn't want her there. she could always whip out her extreme bitch side. words, five hundred forty one. outfit, click.tags, briar holmes notes, hey =]

L E T ' S M A K E A S C E N Elike the movie in our dreams - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - It was kind of upsetting sometimes, that she could only see Nick and Rose. That they were just a figment of her imagination, because they were really the only people she knew that she really got along with. They were as random and silly as she was and she seriously doubted that she'd meet anyone that would do have the things she thought of. Ofcourse, this school was for crazy teenagers like herself, so maybe she shouldn't give up hope just yet, maybe she would find someone, a real person, that would do silly things with her. Lately, however, she'd only found people that seemed so serious. Either that or all they wanted to do was get high or drunk. She just didn't like that, sure she drank, but it was only on occasion. Only at parties.
"You know you wouldn't do that to me," Nick said, seeming so sure of himself. She let a smirk fall on her lips as she looked at the boy and she shook her head, "Yeah, only because I don't have another apple," she said, before taking a bite of the sandwich she had, following it with her smoothie. She watched as Nick rolled his eyes and then she looked down at the table. She felt like such an idiot at times, because she knew that Nick and Rose were only hallucinations, and if someone was watching her, they'd think of her as absolutely insane. It could be that she was, but she didn't really care for it. Taking another bite of her sandwich, she let her eyes look back up at the sky. It sure was a beautiful sight and it brought a light smile to her lips.
Her short time of admiring the sky was interrupted by a girls voice and she moved her head down to look at her. It was that Marilyn girl, or 'Shark' as she liked to be called on the chat. On the chat, at times, she seemed like a complete bitch that she didn't like. The first time they'd even spoke, the girl had made fun of her name, but it didn't bother Briar, ofcourse. She let her eyebrows raise as she sat down and she nodded at her, "And.. Marilyn, right?" She might as well be civil to her if she was going to do the same. She never knew, maybe she could make a friend out of this, a friend that was real, "Oh damn, she's hot. Briar, get me her number," She heard Nick say, and she wanted to roll her eyes but she didn't. Marilyn didn't know what she was here for, and she wasn't going to let her know anytime soon.
