She smiled when he gasped, and she felt him relax his arm as to not cause more problems. She knew he was smart. She pulled the knife out of his arm and licked the blood off of the tip. She leaned in and kissed him on his lips.
She put the knife into his hand. Before closing his fingers around it she pulled out of the kiss. ”You can have a little fun you know” she said smiling. She wasn’t one to let many people cut her up, but a few cuts would only increase the adrenaline in her system.
She smiled and moved her hand away from his. She was now letting him have control, or well some. If he pushed it too far, she would take it all back. She wasn’t one for people fucking up. Being resourceful was one thing, being stupid was not her thing.

James knew enough about anatomy to keep himself from getting more injuries than was necessary. He watched as he pulled the pointy implement out and licked the blood of it. As she leaned him to kiss him, James could taste hints of the blood on her lips. It was metallic but familiar. He had done things like this to others before and being on the other side of it was intriguing.
James sat up when he had the knife in his hands. Where to start? What to do?, he wondered. Holding the sharpened letter opener between his fingers, he pressed it gently against her neck and watched it as it rested there for a moment while he thought about it.
Dragging the blade down gently, he refrained from actually cutting her until he reached her collar bone. With the blade just below it, he pushed in and dragged it down. It was only a surface cut but it would do. He had no intentions of actually marking her at this point.

.Cameron watched in wonder. She wanted to know what he would do. Hell, she didn’t really care though. She had been marked enough times by Aleksei that he body was riddled with scars, still healing cuts, everything. Hell, she had the rose on her neck, and her hip. Although they never went too far as to where she would be naked when he was carving her since of course they were basically siblings.
She leaned her head slightly back and to the side when he moved the blade so that it was against her neck. Hell she had depressive conduct disorder, which basically meant she didn’t care if she died. Although that would leave one hell of a mess for him to deal with. If he didn’t want to get caught that is.
She felt the blade bite into her skin and she sighed. It felt good to have a blade against her skin, even if it wasn’t Aleksei doing it this time. Although Aleksei would kill her if he found out about this night, so she wasn’t planning on telling him at all. Things he didn’t know wouldn’t hurt him. Hell, she didn’t know half the things that went on with him.

James was already aware of how close Cameron and Aleksei were. He knew they had some sort of connection there, they trusted each other at least and they were practically siblings but he didn't care. He didn't want her, this wasn't about taking her from Aleksei, this was just a bit of fun.
Besides, Cameron was no where near the type of person that he would want anyway. She was too independent, too much of her own person and far too dominant for his liking. No, she definitely wouldn't do but that didn't matter right now.
Pressing into her skin, James dug in a little deeper but the line he was carving into her turned into a J, all of its accord. No, James just couldn't help himself. He wanted to know what Aleksei would think should he ever see it.
He found himself smirking a little. It wasn't quite as perfect as Eliza's had been but it was definitely recognizable at least. Beginning the second letter, he looked up at her for her reaction, to see if she had noticed and if she would stop him.

Cameron loved the feeling that the endorphins created in her body when she was being carved. It just felt so, right. She didn’t know why the body did things like that, but she loved it. She wouldn’t have it any other way. She felt him curve the mark and she looked down slightly.
She noticed that he had begun to mark her. Although it wasn’t a good tool to be using for carving into the skin, but it was sharp. That would do for her. She didn’t care who marked her, she was rather awkward when it came to that.
Many people liked knowing who carved them, if they let them anyways. She just loved the feeling of it. She was rather awkward anyways compared to other people. She leaned her head back as he finished the first letter.

"I can't use this," James said. It was a horrible tool. She had modified it a little but it wasn't working right just making it more difficult than it had to be. Reaching over, he dropped it on the table and pulled a drawer open, taking out a switch blade and flicking the blade out.
Looking at her, James moved quick, pushing her down onto the bed, his forearm up against her neck, holding her in place as he stayed on top of her. His eyes were cold but a twisted smile was forming on his face.
Taking the blade, he finished his initials, carving it properly and getting it write. He was a bit of a perfectionist, he wouldn't settle for a thing like that. When he was done, he let go of her and sat back, blade still in his hand. He knew she wouldn't like it at all but that made it more fun for him.

Cameron sighed as he said that he couldn’t use it. It was true, it wasn’t that good for carving. Just cutting, was a different story, along with opening letters, but anyways, he would either have to give up or get a knife. She heard it hit the table before she looked over. She smirked as he pulled out a switch blade.
She smirked but it quickly changed. She didn’t know how strong he was, but he proved it then. As soon as he pushed her against the bed, her hands went to gripping his sides. She tried pushing him up, but it was no use. Of course it wouldn’t be. ”What the fuck” she said as he reentered the blade into her skin and finished carving into her along with fixing his J.
When he let go of her she sat up. She let her legs go from where she was sitting crossed legged to all of a sudden over the bed, then to standing up. She moved over to the window and held her breath for a minute before letting it out.

She struggled, but that only made James like it even more. He liked when people struggled to get free and couldn't, it just made him feel more powerful and more in control and he thrived off it. It was a great feeling and one he hadn't got to have in a little while.
"I missed doing that," James said with a sinister grin. He took pleasure from taking control and rendering her helpless. It didn't last long though, he wouldn't have let that go too far. Still, he watched as she stood by the window. She couldn't have liked that.
He contemplated giving her the switch blade and letting her have a bit of revenge but after that little stunt he pulled, he didn't trust her at all. He was sure she'd be at least a little pissed about it and probably go too far to make him pay so instead, he kept the switch blade in his hand and got up off the bed and watched her.

Cameron was trying to control herself. Partly because she didn’t have a knife, he was the one that did. She wanted to just end him. Finish it all off, but Aleksei would get mad for not letting him do it. Let alone she was the one without a knife. That’s what was hindering her.
As soon as he said that he missed doing that she opened her eyes and looked out the window. She shook her head and clenched her fists. She heard him move and she quickly turned around. She smirked at the fact that he still had the switch blade in his hand, obviously he didn’t trust her enough right now to put it down. Rather smart actually.
”What, ever since your little slut went to Aleksei you haven’t been able to control someone? Well don’t worry, you can have her back, Aleksei doesn’t want her” she said as she looked down at his roommate. She had forgotten that he was even here, but James hadn’t worried about it, so she hadn’t.
She was surprised that he was still sleeping, but it really was nothing. There hadn’t been much noise, and of course they were only talking. Although some times it did get rather heated. Although she could also see how he had stayed asleep, if he was a heavy sleeper, talking wouldn’t wake him up.

"No, it's not about her," James admitted. "I wouldn't want her back anyway," he told her. "I suppose it's because you're more of a challenge and you're a lot closer to Aleksei than she is," he told her, moving around so that he stood between her and the door, the knife still in his hand as a thought occurred to him.
Cameron was a lot closer to Aleksei than Eliza would ever be. Cameron was in his inner circle, getting to her would mean getting to him. The thought intrigued him and James wanted nothing more than to just kill her right now and just see what happens but he knew better.
Thinking too much meant that the thought could continue until it struck something that would make more sense and put a road block in his plans. Killing her meant having to get away with it and he didn't think he could, second, she was still very useful to him, he shouldn't ruin that.
"That was stupid," he admitted. "Got a little bit carried away," he told her. It was true, he had his moments. James was still prone to bouts of the same impulsive aggression that Aleksei and Cameron were, surely she would understand.
"Saying that probably won't help any.. You know I could just kill you right now, but I won't," he said, wondering if that would help her get over it at all. Surely if there was something he could do to put them back in the same situation as before, she would tell him. They were useful to each other and thus tolerated, surely they could just skip past his little faux pas and go back to that.

Cameron laughed when he said that it wasn’t about her. It was about control, and he had taken it from her, even if it was for just a minute. She didn’t like losing control at all. She had relinquished it for a while. She knew better than that. It was about how he had controlled Eliza then threw her away so that Aleksei would take her.
Cameron looked at him when he said that it was stupid. What had he been thinking? Was it about killing her? Because she wouldn’t just let him she would put up a fight and it would probably end up in injuries.
She smirked when he said that he could kill her. She highly doubted it, but he did have the knife. If she could get the letter opener they would at least be on even grounds, but he was right. He could easily kill her if he threw the knife. The only thing she could hope would be that he wouldn’t hit something vital. Although she highly doubted that.
If he was anything like her, he knew the human body. He knew the vital points and where to hit. She knew exactly how to throw the knife so that he would be down, or be dead. Either or wouldn’t bother her. That is if she could claim that it was an accident, but with her record, highly unlikely. They would probably just charge her with murder and get it over with.

James didn't want to have to get himself out of this one. He had been a little more impulsive lately than usual. He blamed Eliza for that one. Usually he was controlled and everything would go according to plan but that day, Eliza had made him so angry that he had done something impulsive and now it seemed it was hooked on it.
"Damn," James said when he noticed what was happened. The wound on his forearm had been quite deep and the bloody was trailing down his arm and onto the carpet. Being so focused on Cameron and his own thoughts on where the situation was going, James hadn't even noticed the blood trickling down. In fact, he didn't even really feel it anymore and had forgotten about it all together until he glanced down.
Pulling his arm close to his chest, he moved over to his desk, eyes scanning her for any sudden movements as he grabbed as few tissues for the wound. Still holding the forearm to his chest to hold the tissues in place, he grabbed a few more and his bottle of cold water and walked back to where he was standing.
Leaning down, he poured a little bit of water on the few drops of bloody and tried to dab at the stains to get it out. This just wouldn't do. Blood stains on the carpet? No, he couldn't have that. If it didn't come out, he would have to go get some club soda.
Fortunately it did come out and James put the bottle back on his desk and threw the tissues in the waste basket. Grabbing a few more tissues for his forearm, he held it there. "I should probably clean this up. Are you going to stay much longer?" he asked as though nothing had happened. As though she hadn't gotten angry about the fact that he had taken control away from her.
