Belle sighed, she had been upset lately for some stupid retarded reason. She hated this new school and her screwed up life. Sitting in her dorm most of the day seemed to depressing and she grabbed her bible and decided to get some fresh air. In a hurry to get far away from the room, the bed and the reminder of her inexistent sex life at this stupid school.
She wanted sex, badly, but the bible spouted on and on about how bad it was. Trying to stay as pure as she can, she stayed away from men. Until, hopefully now. She wants it bad and really wishes she wasn’t so religious. She walked, well she practically ran to the lake. She wanted to sit and read her bible and feel connected to something and the lake seemed like a good place.
When she neared it though, she dropped her Bible and jumped in. She sighed shaking down her hair and tossing her ponytail by the Bible. She swam for a little while before pulling herself out. Looking down at herself she laughed and ran her hand through her messy wet hair. ‘I should not of worn white,’ she thought to herself, looking at her now see through clothes.

jake was bored to death of this stupid meeting he had with the counselor. he just couldn't believe how uptight this girl was. jake, since being sent here against his will never really talked at all to anyone. he thought that if he stayed quiet and didn't get into trouble then he would be free to go. to get out of this annoying place. of course he figured the only reason people hadn't tried to escape was because they had no place to go. and those who were deciding to get out of here, in his opinion were stupid. it was tough out there, and not because they were messed up in the head or what not, but because it took more then a high school diploma to make it out there. then again it was his fear of going some where and someone dying.
he blamed himself for what happened and it was his fault. if he hadn't been talking to those girls that second his little sister wasn't alive and happy. slowly but surely things started to go down hill after that. he couldn't help but think that he shouldn't be allowed to live after taking someone life. pretending to care and listen to what the counselor was saying he left the room quickly. he wasn't sure if he should head back to his dorm and sleep or actually do some homework or just go outside and walk around. either way he would be alone.
walking in no particular direction jake soon found himself outside. he liked being outdoors more, he figured nature wasn't confining a single space. everything out here was free and with out limitations, well to an extent. he heard a splash. figuring he was at the lake, but who would be crazy enough to go swimming at a time like this. it was fall and it was not nearly as warm as it was in the summer. how quickly he got his answer, seeing a girl wet and white clothes walking out of the lake."your crazy you know."he told her bluntly.

Belle ran a hand through her hair and grabbed her ponytail, sticking her wild mane back up. She looked at the guy who spoke and laughed. "You could say that I guess," she said with a soft smile upon her lips.
She sivered, god, this idea was her worse yet. Grabbing the book she sat on the grass and opened the bible and started to read from where she left off, revelations 1:1. Revelations was her favorite book in the Bible.
But she just couldn't get into it like she normally would and layed down. What had gotten into her. Was it her sex life, or lack there of? Probably. Not that she minded much, really it wasn't all bad. "What's your name?" She couldn't help it, she didn't even know she was about to say it until the words lifted off her lips. "I'm Belle," she hurried, not wanting to sound rude or anything

he couldn't help but watch her as she ran her hands through her wet hair. it was getting colder, after all it was autumn. he figured that since she was wet she would get cold. he stayed where he was at, just watching her as if she had some nasty disease and he didn't want to touch her. as she sat down and picked up a book, he couldn't help but laugh."well isn't that a nice book your reading."he said as he moved closer to her. he really hadn't figured her out to be one of those girls, especially since she just took a dip in white clothes.
he took off his sweater seeing as she was shivering. he could be a bit of a jerk but he still had manners. walking over to her, he heard her question and smiled politely. it was his its nice to meet you but i don't really care to talk with you smile. not that anyone could decipher that."uh, nice to meet you belle, i'm jake holmes."he said as he handed her his sweater, it was up to her if she was going to take it our not.

Belle sighed and raised her brow, "Um. I guess you can say that." She sat the bible down next to her and bit her lip, looking down. She wasn't used to this, anytime she had ever been with someone, well it was always very buisnessy, not just talking or anything.
It was all kind of new and she felt like one of those teens who never talked to a guy a day in her life. Taking the sweater, she actually looked at him. He was kind of cute, maybe. She shook her head slightly and slipped the sweater on, wrapping her arms around her knees. "Well Jake, thank you very much for the sweater." She looked down and leaned her head against her knees, sighing to herself. "I don't think that was a smart thing to do," she said, rubbing her arms with a smile on her face.

he couldn't help but smile as he watched her raise her eyebrow. he hadn't meant to offend her in any way. he just found it very surprising that a bible reader was in here. well despite her lip fashion slip up, she seemed normal. but then again it was hard to be normal when everyone around you was telling you something different. after he had given her his sweater he had taken a seat on the grass, but he made sure that he kept his distance from her, after all he didn't want her to get the wrong impression. he wasn't some creepy pervert, though some might be roaming around here he thought with a sigh."don't mention it. its pretty cold out here, wouldn't want you to get sick."he said with a small smile."yeah well it looked fun, i haven't gone swimming in ages."he told her to to make her feel better about her some what reckless decision.

She smiled at him and had no clue what was going through her head at the moment. She actually felt good for once, the urge was gone for once. Maybe it was just the talking without someone wanting something in return that was making her feel so, good. Or maybe it was just the swim, it was hard to tell. "I couldn't live long without swimming, and I really needed that, even if I get sick." Though to her, sick means there is no way a guy would come near her, and she could keep trying to stay pure as much as possible. Not that she really, deep down, wanted that at all. "What do you do for fun, anything reckless and dangerous like swimming in the cold, wearing white?"

he laughed softly before shaking his head."really that must be horrible and i though fish were the only ones that couldn't live without being in the water swimming."he said jokingly. he didn't joke to often, especially since he had the habit of saying the corniest things, so this had been a bit of a surprise to him to be so carefree, its like she emanated that feeling."you do know that there's a heated pool you could of used, being sick isn't as fun as it made out to be. with the skipping of school and staying in bed all day."he said with a grin. shaking his head at her question he tried to think of anything reckless he tried."well nothing to exciting as that, but i did go bungee jumping once or twice."he told her.

Belle couldn't help but laugh, it was a funny joke. Plus, she hadn't laughed in awhile and it felt good to do so. After calming down some she smiled brightly, "Maybe I'm part fish. Who knows," she joked, stretching her legs and laying down on the grass. She turned her head towards Jake and nodded,"Yeah I know. I wasn't thinking about swimming when I came down here. I just wanted to read, but I couldn't help myself." She propped herself up on her arm, to get a better view of him as he talked, "Bungee Jumping? That sounds more exciting than anything I have done before." She sighed, her life was a boring life.

he smiled when he heard her laugh and he couldn't help but start laughing himself when she suggested that she was part fish."so like flounder or ariel?"he said not embarrassed by the fact that he watched disney movies. it was his favorite pass time or well it had been his favorite thing to do when his little sister was alive. he was always stuck baby sitting her, not that he minded. especially all he had to do was put in a disney movie and she would be oddly fascinated, despite watching those movies hundreds of times. he tried not to think of that as he stopped laughing. he nodded when she said that she wasn't thinking of coming down here to swim in the first place."oh yes, its very exciting. even more so if your an adrenaline junky. its great except if your scared of dying."he told her with a grin.

She contemplated this for a moment, "I say more like Ariel. I'm to pretty to be Flounder." She laughed and admired his knowledge of disney movies. They were always her and her friends past times when they were grounded and couldn't leave the house, or when they all were broke because they spent their allowances earlier that week on a trip to the mall and brunch. Blinking up at him she shrugged,"Adrenaline rushes aren't really my thing but it seems like it would be nice to do something new for a change."

he couldn't help but laugh at what she said."yeah, yellow wouldn't be your color. though you would look better with red hair."he said jokingly as he ran his finger through his hair. he smiled at what she said and nodded softly."yeah, well its not for everyone. true, trying something new could open your mind to new things you wouldn't think of trying."he said with a small smile. there were lots of things that jake had thought about doing but never had the courage or more like the time to try. of course these things wasn't to friendly. before trying to kill himself, he did try to come up with different ways he could die and make it look like more of an accident then a suicide.

Belle laughed even harder, "I tried it once. Back when i was thirteen or so. I had many complements on it." She shrugged, she never had time to do it again, once she was kidnapped and she forgot about it after awhile. She thought it was to much of a coincidence that he would say something like that. It made her think about it again. "I guess your right," she leaned into her hand. "Maybe i'll think about doing something new." She shivered, not at the cold but more at the thought of doing something new. She put it in her head, that she will have to do something small.

he smiled softly when she mentioned that she had tried it once and had received many compliments when she had. of course with him being so curious he almost had no boundaries to stop him from asking certain questions. of course that didn't mean that he didn't know when to quit. its not like he wanted your life story or something. so of course he was wondering why she didn't leave her hair red."so what happened? did you get bored of imitating ariel?"he asked jokingly.
he smiled slightly when she said that he was right. he could care less if he was right or wrong. but there was only one thing certain and that everyone was going to die in the end. so instead of regretting something you never did, you could always regret what you did. but by the sounds of it, it wasn't going either way.

Belle couldn’t help but nibble on her lip as she thought of the reason her hair wasn’t red anymore. It was cause her ‘daddy’ didn’t like it, he made her die it back to the original and now, here she was blonde. Maybe if she did die it, she could break away from her past, from the craziness her life seemed to turn into. She didn’t want to tell him that though, no, she was afraid he’ll stand up call her a freak and leave.
Instead she shrugged, “My parents didn’t like it and they made me change it back. I guess I havn’t thought of doing it again.” She gave him a very simple answer, one that there was no telling if it was true or not. “Maybe I’ll do it again,” she said with a soft smile as she looked around. She couldn’t think of anything else, so she picked up the bible and opened it back to her page.
